People have told me they felt she was really with them and for them. Cheryl has an amazing ability to listen and ask questions that truly enhance understanding of self and give a clear sense that she understands as well. Cheryl is committed to providing excellence, and she has a wealth of skills and knowledge. These she continually develops, for she is passionate about her work and about life. Cheryl helps a person recognize and increase their own strengths, wisdom, abilities, resourcefulness, wishes, and needs so they can grow and gain confidence to move toward the life they long for. Cheryl's work inspired me during several years we worked in the same agency. I so admired her way of speaking, the insights people realized, and the sense of calm and support she brought to each situation. Many of those she assisted talked about how highly they valued working with her. I have had the privilege of knowing Cheryl for over ten years. Last but not least I value Cheryl's unwavering commitment and understanding of fairness and ethics. I highly recommend her.

Something very wrong with how they run this organization and it starts at the top. I will be surprised to see them going in 10 years and hopefully someone or something comes along to "reshuffle" their leader.

My dear family member trusted this counsellor, spent an extraordinary amount of time, funds and effort to heal under their so called care. My family is thankfully away from this individual’s care. We are all still hoping they will make a BCACC complaint about Dawn Cox’s practice. Sadly, they are too traumatized to speak of this person. Please remember if your are looking for help, people should know poor counselling is incredibly harmful to a person’s mental health please ensure you vet before using this person. We are still helping to seek someone who can be trusted in proper trauma training and practice.
