Dance Studio

My daughter loves coming here, the teaching is excellent and it has a fun friendly atmosphere.

This should be, and was for years, a 5 star review. It has been withdrawn. I can no longer recommend this business to anyone. Business ethics?.....I no longer find their policies palitable as maximising income seems to have swamped all sence of a balanced decency and fairness towards others. Does business really have to be so hard and brutal? Can we not find a better way, hold dear the ideals of correct, fair and equal treatment of others and yet be successful? All businesses have a right to their 'Terms and Conditions of Trade' and the right to move on and discard the no longer useful but when people's livelihoods are involved standards of decency and acknowledgement of the gravity of such action used to be generally expected. Recently they failed utterly in this duty of care to other human beings...to me and to my 9 classes and130 students and to other independent teachers and their students ...3 term -time weeks notice, just before Xmas, to quit for January and, in the case of my school, this after 11 years of what I believed to be a business association. Being told Urdang is expanding and yet finding the U2 studios empty on Saturdays...being told all bookings are subject to cancellation (?!)...being pushed into smaller and smaller studios...does not constitute a proper period of notice...just makes one contact the legal help line for advice. Also ...foolish me...whatever happened to the ruling that Urdang was to supply classes of interest to the local community? Formal written notice should have been given 6 months ago to enable us to find new premises in time. I can see the risk in that but this inhumanity and this throwing away of human skill and endeavour brings a great sadness into my heart. My school endures as does my spirit...but I'm tough and resourceful. Not everyone is in the midst of such a set-back. Is this the kind of brutal society we are willing to settle for? Pilates Body Awareness has miraculously found and transferred to another venue for a start on Monday 8 Jan 2018. See Google Maps.

it sucks

I dance ballet and really needed flexibility training in addition to the technical training - had a class at London Dance Academy and it was wonderful. The staff is very friendly, teacher was encouraging, and partnered exercises really helped me push my limits in a comfortable environment. Will definitely keep coming back for more!

I cannot fault the experience I have had so far at Polepeople, it’s been fantastic! The staff are all so friendly and are so patient with beginners like me who sometimes need to be told how to do something endless amounts before it finally sinks in! Pole is such a fun thing to do especially when you do it as a group, and amazing exercise without actually feeling like your do a workout. I’m definitely signing up for the intermediate course and can not wait! I recommend anyone interested to give it a go, you won’t regret it.

I got to discover the depth of Flamenco with Ollie, a truly inspiring teacher who succeeds in making you get a firm hold on the music and the necessary feeling behind it. Olé.

Flow Dance is a 5 Star Dance studio and has the best instructors that will help you grow and challenge you to become the dancer you aspire to be. Flow is the place to be !

Luxury studios! Great classes! Great location! Very experienced Ballroom and Latin American instructors!

Ever since I was a child I just looooved tango. It is such a beautiful dance I think. So not long ago I decided to finally learn to dance it. I can't compare TangoAr to any other place as TangoAr is where I started learning tango for the first time. I can say, however, that I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is very friendly. And the studio is very nice too (which is equally important). I personally believe that if you get the basics right from the very beginning, you will feel more confident and learning more complicated things will not seem too difficult. And I think that Ricardo is very good at teaching and explaining how to get those very important basics right. He is very good at explaining the technique. At least for me it is important to know "how" and "why" :-) Ricardo is genuinely interested in his students progressing, which is a big plus when your goal is to "hit that dancefloor" as soon as possible AND know what you are doing :-). So if you would like to learn this beautiful dance I could definitely recommend TangoAr.

Super professional pole studio! The instructors are amazing and the studio runs really good pole retreats. I've been to three of those pole retreats and have taken classes at the studio and also taught guest workshops there. Highly recommend it if you're living in or visiting London!!!

fantastic trainers and great atmosphere!

Tango Space is a great place to start your adventure with tango. even if you are not very good with dancing or choreography of any kind Pablo will teach you how to enjoy tango and dance in an amazing and graceful way. Classes are very well-structured, oriented on your individual needs. What I like most about Pablo's classes is that it's never about the steps and choreography, but about feeling the music, communicating with the partner and moving in space according to the music. And this is what I believe real Argentinian tango is about. Highly recommended!

Great place with lots of different classes for all ages and capabilities. Staff very friendly and really passionate about what they do.

We came to Simply Dancing Partners about a month before our wedding looking for someone to help us with our first dance. From the moment we entered the studio, we felt very comfortable and at ease. We always had a private studio without any other couples around us which helped to relax and focus on dancing. Zoltan, our teacher, is extremely professional and will make you dance even if you have never done it before! We have both enjoyed our classes with him - so much that we have now signed up for his couple's course for beginners!

If you want to start learning salsa highly recommend you go to Pexava for a fun and welcoming atmosphere! Great socials too!
