Dentists

My wife and I went for cleaning on April 29th. Before the cleaning, we asked the receptionist and also the hygienist to please only do the procedures covered by our insurance. They both said of course, they would do only what was covered. However, they did they opposite and without asking, then at the end of the cleaning we were surprised by the bill. We of course asked the receptionist and she said she did not remember us saying to only do what was covered. They did not fix anything on the bill. Also on the same bill, my procedures were charged at a higher rate than those of my wife, for the exact same things. I was told that hers were charged with last year's rate by accident and that was better, but it doesn't make sense to charge each person different rates, nor is it ethical.

After 10 weeks of breastfeeding issues it was determined by a lactation consultant my son had a tongue tie. I called and explained to the receptionist in detail my issues with him having difficulty feeding and wanted to correct his tongue tie right away. I asked SPECIFICALLY if the dentists corrected this procedure, I was assured they did and that it was a common issue. She was able to book me in the next day. Today when I went for my appointment I was informed that they would not be doing the procedure and that they would refer to me to someone else. I told the hygienist that I was told this would be dealt with today, that I was very nervous about this procedure and I expected it to be completed. She said that the receptionist should have told me this was just to check if he indeed in fact have a tongue tie. I already knew he did... The visit was a waste of my time and money.

Had to get a broken tooth capped.....not my idea of fun. However, I was extremely happy with my whole experience with everyone at this office. They got me in quickly, got the job done effectively and kept the pain to a minimum. Dr Stepney explained everything to me as we went along and answered all of my questions.

I love this place the people who work here made me feel like I was family and made me comfortable and the place was like being at home . I am not a fan of going to the dentist and if all dental offices were as understanding as this place,we all would have great smiles .

Such a great staff they really make you feel welcome. They explain everything to you and they do great work. I know I found my dentist for the years to come. I have had two bad experiences before coming here.

"Gentle dental" I had a fear of dentists and dental work. Dr. Shah has turned all that around. She is the best dentist EVER.
