Forget about trying to do business with these clowns.

We had our solar installed about six years ago and it's still going strong. I highly recommend Starlight Solar and will absolutely be back If we get a new rig. Thank you for a fantastic experience. Julie Berry

We have been working with Jason for two years now and have nothing but good things to say about Jason and the company. Keep up the great work!

Though we didn't use NW Electric and Solar because we didn't go forward with solar panel installation, I was impressed with the company's responsiveness for a quote (Sam), the communications, and the quote itself. In the estimate, I felt it was honest in that they used reasonable assumptions. The projected annual increase in electricity costs over twenty years was 3.5% a year. Also, they showed the cost to finance the panels at 5% a year which was reasonable. Another local solar company (Artisan Electric) showed 8% annual increases in electricity costs and 0% cost of money in order to justify the project cost. I thought these assumptions were really misleading and were just used to try to get the sale.

Sphere Solar did a fantastic job with the install and customer service. Their team was courteous, thoughtful, and communicative. They were very tidy and even gave my roommate a ride to get her lunch since their truck was blocking her car. We love the app where it shows both the solar production of energy and our household consumption.

I researched a lot of companies and got several bids before settling on NW Wind and Solar. Their bid was on the lower end, and the experience was positive throughout. They showed up when they said they would, communicated clearly and often, and the quality of the work was as good as anyone could expect. When there was a delay in getting the power company to sign off on the system, they helped get the ball rolling again even though their work was done. I have no reservations recommending them to anyone!

The Solar Store has a great selection of products for solar home owners available via an easy-to-shop website, and their customer service was excellent! This was one of VERY few retailers offering a particular piece of equipment that I needed, and when I had to call directly to ask some questions, it was obvious that the person assisting me genuinely cared about customer satisfaction, not just closing a sale.

Wanted to get solar installed got a number of competitive quotes. The reason I went with Artisan was the extremely friendly service from Jeff Bennett, he was very patient taking extra time to explain the process. The price was also comparable with the other quotes I received. I was really glad I went with Artisan their entire process from start to end is designed to keep you in the loop with what is going on. They are very flexible and communicative. They did exactly what they said they would each and every time. Quality install (no roof leaks!) and worked with me to minimize the cosmetics of the install to the street front. It really made me feel like that they had my back during the entire process and really cared about their work. Case in point - Jeff went to bat for me when PSE screwed up and was taking a really long time to turn the system on (> 30 days - out of Artisan's control), which I really appreciated. Only suggestion I would have for them for future improvement would be to make sure they seal the lines coming in and out of the house and not using blue painters tape for the labels, but that was caught on the inspection and fixed promptly.

Don't waste your money with this company. Our main problem is one of their rooftop solar heaters are already leaking after only 3 years. Immediately after spending almost $4,000 with "Sunbright Solar Systems" replacing our approx 15 year original rooftop heating panels, the system didn't work properly and when he returned to fix the issue, it still didn't work correctly and now only 3 years later, one of the panels is leaking. Owner and installer, Paul Sim, doesn't honour their 12 year warranty (which is stated on their invoice). When contacted doesn't offer any assistance, hangs up on us. If they're out of business it's no wonder!

A few years ago Glen was available for his consulting, on our initial 2 panel , 4 battery system. Once again we have relied On Glen’s knowledge and professionalism to help guide us to a larger, 8 panel 10 battery system ( just finished today). We are fortunate to have him close at hand , to pass along his fountain of knowledge that he makes understandable to us. Thanks again Glen for all you did ,you get 2 thumbs from both Cathy and I.
