The workers are very helpful and Home Depot has reasonable prices. They usually have what you want in the store but you can order it online and have it delivered to a store guess where you live. The only problem is that many times it takes longer to check out then it does to find what you want if you already know what it is and where it is. And sometimes it takes time to find an associate because they aren't staffed enough at times.

They restored our floors. fairly large job in an 1924 tudor style home in Crocker Highlands. Very pleased with the outcome. They showed up on time. competitive price, clean and did a nice job matching the old wood & stains.

OMG! I am in LOVE with this place. They carries just the style of furniture I like... mostly hardwood antique and handcrafted from around the globe and for really reasonable prices... There is also a selection of other home ware and lighting fixtures as well as some local artisan stuff like jewelry and handbags.

R C Tile & Marble Creations has an incredible selection of tile,and just about any type of stone.The staff was very helpful.They are the best tile store in Salinas.

Just had The Floor Store install hardwood flooring in our condominium at Watergate in Emeryville. Our contact at The Floor Store was David Shapiro and he was outstanding. He walked us thru the hardwood selection process and solved a difficult Watergate-specified underlayment issue. Albini Flooring did the installation and they were also outstanding. They met their schedule which involved removal of carpeting, linoleum and old parquet, floor prep, installation of the underlayment and hardwood, application of a sealer followed by the application of 3 coats of oil-based clear finish (no need for stain - the clear finish alone produced a deep rich golden clear finish). One long time resident of Watergate who handles maintenance issues there already commented that he has never seen a better hardwood floor installation at Watergate. I have no connection to The Floor Store nor was I compensated in any way for this positive review.

I used this company to refinish the floors in my 1925 Berkeley bungalow. The estimate they provided seemed reasonable. The original floors were still relatively intact and un-damaged, so it seemed like the way to go. In all fairness, I thought that they did an adequate job but they didn't finish the work in its entirety as they said they would. There was a moulding that didn't get installed after they'd done the staining and finishing. When I called them on it, Jesus said that they'd come out and take care of it right away--they neither called or showed up. After several calls, I gave up and did the remainder myself. If reliability or dependability are important to you, I wouldn't use this company (again) or recommend them to anyone else.
