Hearing Aid

Visited office for hearing aid issues. Audiologist Lynette diagnosed the problem and then checked on warranty and fixed both hearing aids, all in one day. Superb and courteous service, all for a very minimal fee. Couldn't be more pleased with the attention given to my problem and the great response. Definitely will be back.

I have a profound high frequency hearing impairment. In 2010 I was refered to Natural Hearing Solutions by Phonak. The owner of NHS, Bob sold me a pair of audeo smart 5's. The day I picked them up only the left instrument worked. The right one would come on intermittently for only a second every few minutes. I had to wait weeks for the right instrument to go back to the factory for tepair. I should add that the only reason I knew the right instrument was coming on intermittently for a second here and there was the highly offensive loud sizzling sound it made when it came on. The left instrument always made this obnoxiously loud sizzling sound like bacon frying at amplified sounds deeo in my ear canal far louder than the hearing aids could possibly amplify normal sounds and speech. I paid $3,400 for these audeo smart 5's that I thought would be useful hearing aids. All they did for me was obstruct my poor hearing even more. I literally had to take them out of my ears everywhere I went because I couldn't hear anything over the loud obnoxious sizzling sound they constantly made. I would bring them back to Bob at Natural Hearing Solutions on a weekly basis only to have him make worthless adjustments that accomplishef nothing to make the instruments work. Bob knew they were disfunctional and actually soent about an hour per visit orogramming them just to get me out of his office. He'd send me off and say to me: if they get noisy push the button on them and wait for my origram to make them quiet and functional. After years of wasting my time with adjustments from Bob I finally convinced him to send them back to the factory for reoairs. I'd wait several weeks just to have them shipped back to me making the same noise. I gave up on Bob and started bringing them to other audiologists in hopes of having better luck. The 1st audiologist offered to send them back to phonak for repair at the expense of $1,200. It took me 10 yrs to find an ethical audiologist who put the instruments in her ears and instantly said: " oh thats awful! They're frying. The microphones are bad. She sent them back to phonak for $300 and in 3 days they were back in her office working perfectly and comoletely quiet. Hmm... Why did they only take 3 days to ship to phonak get repaired correctly and shipped back to me when I had to wait 3 weeks for Bob Ladamir at Natural Hearing Solutions to ship them somewhere that never repaired them. If you want a good pair of hearing aids from an honest audiologist, stay far from Bob Ladamir at Natural Hearing Solutions. He's a scammer and will rob you blind! Sean McDonnell

I have lived in Naples for over forty years. I have a profound high frequency hearing impairment and have purchased hearing aids from several different audiologists. One audiologist in Naples sold me a pair of $4,000 phonaks that never worked correctly from the day I picked them up. I spent 5-7 years bringing them in for adjustments and having the audiologist send them back to phonak, only to wait over 2 weeks to receive them back in thecsame condition. I finally decided to try bringing the phonaks to another audiologist in a desperate attemot to get them working but I was told it would cost $600 per instrument. I finally found Dr. Louis at A Better Hearing who was abke to sell me an excellent working oair of BTE Siemens for less than half the price of the phonaks that never worked. The new Siemens pair is the clearest most quiet pair of hearing instruments I've owned to date. It has been a pleasure working with such a professional audiologist. His service is outstanding. His products are 2nd to none and I'd never do business with any other audiologist other than Dr. Louis again.
