Awesome staff and technology

Acute Hearing provides horrible customer service. They require any equipment to be purchased up front and offer to file applicable claims with your insurance carrier. This information was provided and they didn't follow through on claim submission in an appropriate time. This resulted in me loosing a $2000 benefit of reimbursement. Choose someone else to help you with your hearing needs!

Tried to scam my grandmother! Would give them zero stars if I could. This business used to sell and service a different brand of hearing aids. When my 88 year old grandmother went in to have her rechargeable batteries replaced - which must be done yearly - she was told they could no longer service them due to a lack of parts. They told her that the manufacturer had gone out of business due to a number of lawsuits over exploding batteries (just like the ones she was there to get) and insisted that she’d need to buy a whole new set of hearing aids for thousands of dollars. Thankfully my grandmother told them that she’d have to think about it since her current batteries still had a little life in them. I looked into it after she told me what happened, and with a little googling I found out that the company was clearly still in business, had no lawsuits, exploding batteries, or anything of the sort. In one phone call to them I had two new batteries shipped directly to her house and installed them myself. Scamming the elderly is beyond disgusting! My grandmother is an incredibly sharp, mobile and independent woman that is not easily fooled. She’s lucky enough to have a close family that always looks out for her. I feel terrible for the people that frequent this shop and fall for their lies. I’ll be calling Miracle Ear corporate directly to complain and make them aware of the situation.

Extremely friendly, knowledgable, helpful, caring, professional, and informative. Also, the hearing test is free which was incredibly helpful for my college student budget. Works with insurance as well. Overall, can't speak highly enough about their service and helpfulness.
