Hearing Aid

Dr. McGargill and the office staff are fantastic. Until a couple years ago, when I got my hearing aids, I didn't realize how much of fitting and adjusting the aids is not just science/computer set up but is an art. Dr. McGargill is great --- he listens to what I tell him and makes the adjustments to ensure that I am getting top performance from my hearing aids.

I have mild to moderate hearing loss, so I’m on the bubble as to whether or not I need a hearing aid. I went to Beltone in Omaha and worked with Dean, the owner. Dean helped me decide what kind of hearing aid would be best for me, and then allowed me to try it out for two weeks with no obligation. Although I decided to wait another two or three years before purchasing a hearing aid, the service provided by Beltone was nothing less than outstanding. I will definitely go back to Beltone when I’m ready for hearing aids. I highly recommend Beltone. I’m impressed!

My dad went here to try their hearing aids for 30 days. They had to write a check for 1000.00 upfront, the lady said she would not cash it until he decided if the hearing aids would work for him after the 30 day trial. He also had to have 4 follow ups in that month time frame. He had 4 appts, one that was cancelled by the miracle ear lady, but my dad was able to reschedule that appt. Several times while he was putting the hearing aids in, the batteries would fall out, they even fell out in the miracle ear office in front of her. They also filled out paperwork for finanancing. The lady imformed them that if he decided to keep them, their first payment would be due 30 days from the end of the 30 day trial. Well, on the last day of the trial, my dad returned to miracle ear for his last appt, to which he told her he was not happy with them, he didn't think his healing was any better and was not planning on buying them. Not only did this lady cash their 1000.00 check 5 days after receiving it, they had already received a bill with their first payment expected due on the LAST day of the 30 day trial... not 30 days later. She then said my dad didn't have 4 appts in the month,, and she would have to call her boss. Of course she couldn't get a hold of her boss. She made them wait another week and fill out paperwork and get it notarized and bring it back to her. Now they have to wait approximately 2 weeks to get their 1000.00 that she said she wouldn't cash.. For hearing aids that cost 6-7 thousand dollars, the batteries SHOULDN'T be falling out , and they should be able to improve a person's hearing... I would never recommend this place to anyone!! I think they just try to take advantage of older people, lie to people, and are extremely overpriced!!

Excellent customer service with repeat visits. Honestly felt like we ripped him off aids were so cheap, working well 2yrs later!

I have been with Glassman/Connect Hearing/American Hearing for over 20 years now. I had received nothing but professional and personal service from all of their employees. They have never pressured me into any sales, ever! You can trial your aids for 45 days and return them if you do not like them. Each of my hearing aids sets have lasted me 5 years each. They fit perfectly, do not whistle and I can hear the things I need to hear. Once fitted, the aids are shipped out and back to the office in less than a week, need loaners, just ask, they will help you, they want to keep all their customers happy! Again thanks for another successful and happy year! ch

Great products and excellent customer service.

Dr. Grasse and staff have worked with me tirelessly. Her testig equipment is the latest. She constantly encouraged me to be frank and stay positive. The product I am now wearing is a Phonak. It has restored a normalcy in my married life. I am able to hear people normally even at loud family gatherings.

Hearing Unlimited does not make any exceptions for an appointment when my hearing aid was stepped on while at the hospital for 17 days. I can not hear without the hearing aid. She said they were all booked up no room for an appointment. I have used them many years and they would not fit me on their schedule. I will advise everyone not to go there. I am changing to another business who cares about their patient.

Love my aids, specialist was so helpful and gave me the options, wasn't pushy. Love this place!
