After my initial consultation, I had my hearing retested to determine if my hearing aid was still giving me the best possible performance. Dr. Olson showed me the data and explained where I had had some degradation. He spent the balance of my visit sharing his knowledge on hearing loss, what I could expect in the future, and why investing in new aids would not benefit me now. He's a very knowledgeable and honest doctor!

My first experience with getting my hearing aids was at Good Sound Audiology two years ago. I am so fortunate I found the best audiology company in the valley here in Phoenix!!! First of all, though I was hesitant to get hearing aids because I wasn't sure I REALLY needed them, was afraid they'd be difficult to get used to, and finally, because of my vanity - "would they be obvious", would they "make me look old"??!! My experience has been a very pleasant one from the beginning and remains so each time I go into any of their 3 offices. Tina Jesse is THE BEST!! She runs an extremely professional company and every single person I have dealt with has been professional, kind, caring, patient, and always takes the time to make sure I understand instructions and also that I have all my questions answered. I would recommend no other audiology company or audiologist but Good Sound Audiology. The best part is that wearing hearing aids has truly changed my life for the better in so many ways; I CAN HEAR which actually makes me feel better and more confident about myself! My husband went in for a hearing test today. His appt. was for 12:00 noon. The receptionist told him the hearing aid specialist, Andrea, was on a break. She returned 10 minutes late for the appointment. During the testing, my husband told her several times her microphone was not working. She opened the door and told the receptionist to call the audio repair department. Testing continued with 5 or 6 interruptions by the receptionist with questions from the repair people. After testing was completed Andrea suggested my husband try a pair of aids and walk around the store for 15 minutes or so, which my husband did. When he returned, he was told Andrea went to lunch. Needless to say, we are not ordering hearing aids from this Costco! Frustrating and unprofessional!
