Good doctors

I saw Dr. Tarvin for bilateral, multi-frequency tinnitus. We re-affirmed that white noise can improve my tolerance, and decided to pursue hearing aids for consistent sound generation. Dr. Tarvin is personable, informative, and spends ample time with her patients. She knows tinnitus. She knows the therapies. She let me test the hearing aids and the white noise program before being approved, which has significantly altered my perspective on their efficacy. She does tone and decibel matching so as to get a rough idea of the objective loudness of one's tinnitus. Her pricing is fair. She types thorough, accurate records. If you have tinnitus, this is the doctor you're looking for. And if this somehow isn't who you're looking for, she'll point you to the person who is.

My experience is mainly with my sons autism evaluation as well at my 4 year old counselor. My 7 year old was evaluated in January and diagnosed the first week of February. We were told that we would get a report by mid March. So of course, to prepare ourselves, we contscted thr therapists, new pediatrician and SC autism society for case management. Here we are now its mid April and still no report has been given to us. So, ive emailed and called. I keep being told that they will get it done. So last night I email the lady who evaluated my son. I explained to her that we need the report for all of the providers as well as being able to move forward with his treatment. I just received an email saying she is still working on it and will have it ready on Tuesday. Ive heard that so many times. It is in my opinion ridiculous. Lastly, my 4 year old bass ODD so He is treating with the counselor there. I feel like the counselor hasn't been any help and,we,are,months in. But, mainly I feel like I have to control the appointment. Nothing is really explained to you. So, if you don't tske control,and ask 20 questions then you have no,clue we by to do. I just think that clarity is not the right place for us anymore. I would much rather wait for developmental pediatrics. Becuase clarity really hasnt been much help!
