Every now and then you encounter a business that still provides the personal service that existed when we "baby boomers" were much younger. Ann and Bonnie at A & M are true, caring, professionals in their field. They won''t try to sell you the item that pushes the most profit to the bottom line and move on to the next customer. They will take the time to evaluate your situation and work with you on the best one to suit your needs. If you need a hearing professional, go see them.

When a visitor to Powell River, my most needed hearing aid died. Although I wasn't a client, Lisa Reimer helped me out by contacting the hearing aid company, found it was still under warranty and shipped it off for repairs. I am most grateful to now have my hearing restored to me. Thanks Lisa!

I can't believe what a horrible experience I just had at this office. I was referred here by Kaiser only due to a scheduling issue for a hearing test. Apparently this is a hearing aide place. I told the receptionist & the audiologist I was only there for a hearing test. But Yolanda the audiologist kept asking for information that I wasn't prepared to provide. I didn't have my medical records with me. I told her I haven't even had my MRI yet & she said & I quote "you don't need an MRI, you need a hearing aide" I said, gosh you don't need to be so rude about it & she told me, I didn't need to be so rude either. Totally unprofessional, if she can't even have control & not speak so rudely to patients maybe she doesn't need to be in a customer facing profession. Next stop is the BBB. It is unacceptable for a patient to leave in the middle of an appointment almost in tears.

I have been going to Sonus in for almost 3 years only because I have to because of Insurance reasons, I tried to change after my first visit but was unable to. They have sucked from day one. One reception will set up an appointment but apparently not put in the schedule, so when you show up you don't have an appointment. I had a referral for a new hearing test from April 2017 and it is now the end of August and have never heard from them about it. I'm really gonna see about going to another provided, if not I'm thinking about just being deaf instead of dealing with them. The Grossmont Office is just as bad.
