You will not regret buying your home from Western Living Homes. The quality of the homes are absolute top notch and their customer service is exceptional. Even a year and a half after we have purchased our home, they are still going above and beyond to help us. Being in the customer service industry most of my life, I can honestly say that you don’t get this kind of service these days, it’s very rare. This homebuilder is not lacking one bit. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

Avoid buying from Brookfield at all costs. My wife and I purchased our first home with Brookfield in July of 2018. As a matter of due dilligence, we asked our sales rep what structures would be built on the empty lot beside our home, and were told matter-of-factly that they would be duplexes complete with two-vehicle garages per unit. This information was used to inform our purchasing decision and was instrumental in our decision to buy. This information, as it turns out, was also entirely false. We were lied to. In reality Brookfield is permitting stacked 4-plexes (so 8 units) with two garage suites per structure (an additional 2 units) - all with a single parking spot per unit. I have gone door to door and discussed the matter with neighbours who state that they were similarly deceived and were also told it would be duplexes with adequate 2-vehicle parking. Brookfield has been wholly unwilling to make this right in any way.

In 2015, I built my duplex with Welcome Homes. When it's time to build my next one, I will use Welcome Homes again. Having them build my duplex took nine months and during that time, Paul, Fernando and Mike made the process for this first time home owner stress free. They were meticulous in their paperwork and informed us of what had to be done every step of the way. They also let us know where we were at in terms of budget and scheduling. Years later, they continued to make themselves available to us for various things such as mortgage issues, the GST rebate and 1 home warranty issue. At the conclusion of the construction contract, Paul handed over a binder of correspondences, bills paid and any other important information a new home owner would want. That's how meticulous they are. They definitely went above and beyond. Without hesitation, I recommend this builder for your next home. You won't be disappointed.

We just moved in to our new Cornerstone Home in Heritage Pointe Artesia and couldn't be happier. Right from the beginning we knew we had picked the right builder. During the entire process we had immediate access to decision makers with any questions or changes we came up with. And best of all , no change order fees, and believe me, you will make changes. Also, their standard specifications were well above competing builders in the area. Most importantlly, the quality and professionalism of their trades was exceptional - we feel our home looks like a showhome. Professional and easy to deal with. Their build prices are reasonable for a very high quality final product. They strive to source supplies and products from as local as possible - there wasn't much of our house, if anything, that wasn't made in Canada. The contractors they hire are generally very good. If anything goes wrong, Broder will set it straight in a timely manner. We're extremely happy to have had Jonathan and his team build our highly customized dream home. We feel like the experience would have been far less personal with with one of the huge builders and far more stressful had we ended up with some sketchy builder (we've heard some bad horror stories over the years about how bad builders can be). I hope this company thrives and I'll be recommending them to anyone I know who is looking to build.
