Care Partners Physiotherapy Care Centre Experience Comments In November 2016, at 46 years old, I fell stepping up a set of stairs and badly injured my left knee. This knee has been problematic since my pre-teen years. My son drove me to the hospital, x-rays were immediately taken and the emergency doctor referred me to Dr. M. Snider. As such, I became a candidate for Total Knee Replacement and following a long wait I received the procedure in March of 2018. Even with very expensive ($1750) custom bracing and medication, my pain increased daily and my ability to walk, sleep and work became an enormous hurdle. Stairs were horrifying and I would avoid them at all costs. As I waited, I began to also struggle with my emotional well-being. Feeling very depressed, sad, and everyday more hopeless and less attractive. I gained weight. I was unable to travel with friends on a once in a lifetime trip to Europe as it required so much walking, so I lived her vacation through my friends posts and videos on Facebook. I just wanted to just hide under my blankets and become invisible. Finally, I had the procedure. My experience at Grand River Hospital was excellent. The efficient nurses, excellent surgeon and cheerful support staff made me feel very cared for and well attended. I truly appreciated the physiotherapists who worked with me at the hospital, showing me the initial exercises, preparing me for the work ahead and providing the information to book follow up physiotherapy at Care Partners on Dutton Drive in Waterloo. From the initial appointment at Care Partners to beginning therapy, I really began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was so truly excited for the opportunity to walk properly and be well again. I really looked forward to coming to the centre to learn more exercises and become stronger. The circuit style approach was so good for my mental well-being, as I was able to share the pain with others experiencing the same, as well as the laughter, support and comradery of the other patients. Every week I would come in, better of body and better of mind. All the staff at the Care Partners are fabulous. From the smiles at reception to the therapists. The first time I walked up and down the stairs and Care Partners, one foot after the other, I began to weep. I was so happy. Right up until the moment I actually did it, I had been completely terrified. Cindy saw that and gave me words of encouragement and congratulation. Her words are still singing through my ears every time I now confidently approach a set of stairs. The true STAR at Care Partners to me is Cindy. Her infectious smile somehow makes it easier to do the physical workouts. Her words of support and her pushing me… just that little bit harder every time, has made me stronger every day. I loved coming into the centre to see Cindy and listen to her positive comments on how much better and far I have come. She quite literally did teach me how to walk properly again, and I feel wonderful. I am looking forward to a wonderful summer and my future with a “spring in my step” and a new outlook on life. The place left me feeling confident, the special people you have; I wish I could be a part of. They have the best care in K-W! Thank you all, and all the best all year! Thank you Jane! You do sure save my days! That woman sure has patience! She handles a lot! It's truly hard to star such amazing people. I believe Jane & Jeff deserve the humanitarian award! That Jane sure deserves something, she does everything, even to listen to you on the phone b/c of having a bad day, she keeps you positive. Jeff, is the best at what he does! He has such compassion and has intriguing solutions! Please do something for these two humanitarians! Thank you, it's people that work in that career that helps you try to feel at your best, it's that warm smile, nurturing voice and morale! Its people like that, that make your day just a bit brighter! It's those two, "That make your business". I appreciate how much they do! They make the world go round! A good place to see ur grand parents and for them to get help

The Sienna Living nursing staff are conscientious, available to talk and very caring. I have heard many good stories about this LTC facility and they are proving correct. Not all LTC facilities show this way and I'm thankful that this facility was available when my Mom needed their care.

We hired Premier Home care Services for my Mom and Dad when they became ill and needed help to stay in their home. They worked for my parents for two years until my mother passed away and my dad went to live in a nursing home. During the time they were with my parents they were always reliable and dependable. They always had someone at their home when we asked and nobody was ever late. They tried to consistently send the same person to the home in order to ease the stress of having a care giver in their home. I would recommend them if you are looking for dependable care giving.

Our business Heart of the Matter/Senior's Move has worked with Chartwell Terrace on the Square for many years helping to move seniors into their new home. Amanda and staff have always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating in every way. The resident spaces are well organized to suit a variety of needs. We look forward to connecting with the staff and residents each time we are in the retirement residence.

Complete and utter sh*thole. Made the mistake of letting my mom move in here (retirement side, not long-term care side) and in the few months she stayed, she was stolen from, gaslighted, and neglected. Residents frequently smoked in the stairwell, staff knew and did nothing to stop it. My trips through the long-term care side were extremely depressing, staff made zero effort to engage residents in anything social, instead just wheeling them into the hallway to drool at each other. I understand by the time someone gets to long-term care they're typically far gone, but that's no excuse for what I can only describe as neglect that happens at this place. Even the retirement side had no real programming to try and keep the residents' minds and bodies active.

Fantastic experience dealing with Christian and his qualified team of Angel's. I found the company to not only be affordable but flexible and attentive to all details. Highly recommended when you need care for your loved ones. Well named indeed. Alex

Awesome service from Shelly D and Angie K when my 95yr old Stepfather required urgent care after a stroke. 24/7 care was implemented extremely efficiently, and all concerns were addressed promptly. Very pleased with the service.
