Our grandmother lived here about a year prior to relocating to the Rosewood next door. It is a good place in that the seniors are provided with activities, meals and socialization and the friendly staff takes an interest in ensuring that they participate. The place is pricier than some other retirement homes but considering what you get it was absolutely worth it; the level of care and security gave us peace of mind. The staff always knew if she was in the building and if she attended meals and took part in activities. At least one member of our family visited our grandmother there pretty much daily for the duration of her stay and we would always comment on how we wished we lived there.

I had a family member live there over a year. I like the location, I feel it is a secure place, there are healthy meals, I just feel this place could make some adjustments that could benefit the safety of the residents. I feel that if they want to care for people who require a certain level of care then perhaps staff with more training is needed. It is not a medical or clinical environment but 'supportive' but even so, when you are in that role for the elderly there are certain things that are important

Dennis at Home Care Assistance has a heart of gold. It's obvious that he is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about what he does. I highly recommend his services to anyone who has a loved one struggling to continue living at home.
