Beautiful facility. Lots of light and indoor courtyard. Before they were cut down, they were the tallest indoor trees in Edmonton.

The room is spacious, and the living environment is comfortable. Staff is friendly too.

Horrible experience. Would not recommend.

My Mom moved in to Luxstone 10 days ago. She subsequently experienced medical difficulties which resulted in her needing to move on to a different facility. The staff at Luxstone treated Mom with the utmost of respect and helped our entire family get through a very trying week. Linda especially, brought many smiles to Mom's face and we are very grateful for her.

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. It was such a difficult diagnosis to accept in her early 60s. Qualicare has been such a positive influence in our lives during this transition. Jaime Puchalski met with my parents and hand-selected a caregiver she knew would be a good fit. I appreciate that the same caregiver arrives at my mom's house, two days a week, and it's a constant that our family has grown to depend on. Her and her caregiver have developed a relationship, she gets out of the house despite the fact she no longer drives, and they help with taking mom to appointments. I would recommend Qualicare to anyone searching for care of a loved-one. They truly are committed to supporting families, no matter what level of support they need.

My mom has lived here since 2012 and absolutely loves it. The staff are all wonderful and everyone says hi to you in the halls. There are lots of activities to stay active and meet people. Can't say enough good things about this place.

If I could rate this nest of nepotism and incompetence with a few words, it would be simply that management displays breathtaking inanity.

The quality of food served to the guests has declined substantially. When we visited for lunch with a guest the menu was a choice of steak pot pie, salad, soup and dessert. or waffles & bacon. We all chose the steak pot pie. It was a very tiny, soggy pot pie with one tiny cube of meat and thin gravy as a filler served with overcooked, cold vegetables The soup was call cream of broccoli and contained no broccoli other than what may have passed through the water to slightly color it a yellow/green. It was a slightly thickened broth with no flavor. The salad was served in a tiny dessert bowl and not much more than a couple of tablespoons of sliced cucumber in a cream dressing. I also witnessed a very rude receptionist referring to a guest as very annoying, while still in the presence of that guest.

They "truly care" & my mom has been very happy here for the last 5 yrs.
