This is our second Assisted Living experience in Whatcom County. We selected a different facility as our first choice primarily because of they had a 2 bedroom room that Highgate did not offer. After a year we needed to relocate to a smaller Living area and the best choice was Highgate. We are very pleased with the staff, the homey intimate feeling of the facility. The food and menu selection is excellent. The dining room is a wonderful area and a great dining experience. The staff is excellent, attentive, kind, curteous and genuinely care for the residents. They offer a good variety of activities and getting involved was another primary reason for the move. The building is clean, quiet, comfortable and all the residents seem pleased to be there and enjoy each other's company. I recommend Highgate and it should be near the top of anyone's list looking for an assisted living home for themself or a family member.

Home health visits were always proffessional but personal. Pleasant people to work with.

I give them one star coz they interviewed me but the HR even had no any experience for interviewing the employees I had two years of experience caregiver even I worked before I came to Bellingham as direct support professionals. I think my be there us some thing else going there.

I work here in the housekeeping and laundry, and it's a great place to work.
