I used to work for Holyrood many years ago. In the past it used to be a dull, unpleasant place to be. And they were constantly short of staff. However, since then, they've changed a lot – they fired old manager, did extensive renovations and hired lots of new staff in 2009. Since than - this place is great! Highly recommend. Oh, forgot to mention: free parking, excellent meals, nice garden and very close to everything in Maple Ridge.

As a nurse it’s the most awful place to work. Managements only interest is making as money as possible. There is no direction or help from the ED. Hostile and scary situations. The admits are awful and there is no staff to care for the residents. Don’t work here or let your family members go to Aldercrest.

Older building, but best support and very nice staff! I work for health authority and we had a few clients at Rosewood. Staff at Rosewood goes above and beyond keeping their clients happy, entertained and well feed. Very accommodating people, very supportive team. Lisa, Rosewood Manager, is the kindest person I've ever seen. Highly recommend!

I used to visit this place regularly in the past and they did have great services, tasty food and lots of activities for the residents. It is right across from Seniors Center. Moreover, they have Independence Matter (private nursing company) office right in the building. So you loved one will be well watched and cared for (for extra fee, of course :-)

My mother had only a few months in independent living at the Maple Ridge Seniors Village before she passed. But that was enough time to get to know the facility and team. • The professionalism of the front end staff when we toured and signed contracts. They spoke to her with such warmth. • She was nervous of the transition and said she would probably just stay in her suite. That changed quickly when she slowly started to attend the events, music nights, game nights. The recreational team who knew she loved bridge, put it out there and arranged a foursome that played until 10:30pm “laughing at nothing”. How she loved it. As a family we attended many events that were fun and organized. • The comfort level of the building – so clean, a hotel feel. • When she first fell, the care aides who checked on her as if she was their mother. • Knowing Mom was safe. They have a clockwork system to make sure their residents are accounted for and secure. We have absolutely no regrets about her time spent here. I can’t thank the team enough.

Everybody at Fedelta are very dedicated to their work and always go out of their ways to support others if they can. I love the fact that everyone can be so laid-back even during the stressful time. Last but not least, everybody is very open-minded and willing to take time to listen to concerns and work together to find solutions. Truly feel like home here.

Very nice clean place and very friendly staff

My father-in-law lived at Avalon Gardens for two years. The staff and residents were very accommodating to his needs (and there were some doozies). Perhaps I will one day move into Avalon; if they will have me.
