Horrible management. Super high staffing turn over rate because management doesn't communicate with their employees they'd rather just fire them. Constantly being short staffed = residents care neglected....Check out their indeed reviews as well where people are allowed to be annonomys and say how they really feel.

For the extremely high prices they charge, the people who live there get adequate care as far as food, bathing and medication in a beautiful homelike setting. But there doesn't seem to be any activities provided on the weekends to mention. The food is fair but nothing special. Everyone is just propped to watch TV in between meals. Every time you come there to visit there is someone who has fallen with stitches or bruises. Caregivers always have to be sought out. I saw a caregiver yell at a man in a wheelchair to get the "____" out of her way! There is somebody different working there every time. The employees all start out very nice and after being there a while they all say they care about the people but the company's work ethics are so demeaning to the point of insulting and the most caring and best of the lot end up leaving. If you express concerns about people receiving proper care the manager with the Napoleon complex has the attitude if you don't like it take your business elsewhere. (your parent is business to him) The honeymoon from when they first opened is over and the prices have gone up. There is new construction of senior living going up along the only driveway into the place it is just a mess trying to get to the building. Nice try. It looks good but it's just not as good as the regular Senior living provided by American House.

I have a family member there in special care. The staff are so patient with these folks and try to do their work with a smile as much as possible which in turn promotes smiles on the residents faces. They tailor activities to the residents in each ward so that all can participate as much as they are able to. Watching loved ones decline is never easy but the staff at Sun Parlour help ease that for the families.

Aides are mean. They laugh at your clothes and when "changing" you (because sometimes you have to be changed) they laugh when they don't think you see them. The entire staff is mean. They laugh at you. The food is ALWAYS cold, even the oatmeal is cold, now you know how dance oatmeal is, right? Then you should also know it stays warm for an extended period of time...not this oatmeal, its cold! The food, if it isn't cold, its nasty The only positive, 5 star ratings are from people who work there or did work there. I wish I had read these reviews before going there!, now I'm stuck there! HELP!

This place is home to fifty or more residents.The people here have a wide range of disabilities,medical issuses and drug addictions.This home is staff by family and friends of the owners,residents and some outside employees.The owners are not the original owners it was previously owned and operated by a Korean family who sold it to the present owners.The owners of this home also own Seinior's Alternative Care Ink and Essex Manner.

I have nothing but positive comments about Griswold home care! They provided weekly care for my mother for about 9 months before her recent passing. Lauren was ultra-responsive to our every request and her team of Feb, Sonya & Sharon were always polite, on-time, and responsive to my moms needs. Thanks to you all.

This place is disgusting!! My father was mistakenly taken here and it reaked of urine and they fed him a jail meal!!!

They took awsome care of my dad for 6 yrs except for not following through on some of his wishes. On the whole very loving and caring attendants.
