Hotel Manoir De L'Esplanade
83 Rue d'Auteuil, Québec, Québec, G1R 4C3, Canada
Best location in Old Quebec. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Here's something you'll never see in one of my reviews... A special shout out for the rain shower head and quality toilet paper! None of that single ply junk that the name brand hotels use.
The owners and staff are pleasant and always ready to help. The breakfast was awesome... the woman who ran the breakfast was a doll. Always a big smile on her face. No meat is provided but I didn't care. The automatic pancake maker and fresh fruit salad more than makes up for that.
We have zero complaints and look forward to staying with them again next year!
Hotel Maison Ste-Ursule
40 Rue Sainte-Ursule, Québec, Québec, G1R 4E2, Canada
When I got to the hotel I left my phone in the taxi. The receptionist was super lovely and helpful. I got my phone back 30 minutes later. The private room is small and the bathroom is extremely small, but I think it adds to the beautiful character. This hotel is very well located. 10 min walk to the château Frontenac and 5 min from Porte sainte-Jean. Great breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee places all around. I will definetly be staying here again!
Merci Hotel Maison Ste-Ursule, je vais jamais t'oublierai!
Hotel La Maison Demers
68 Rue Sainte-Ursule, Québec, Québec, G1R 4E6, Canada
This was our first trip to beautiful Quebec City. We stayed for two nights here and it was a great choice. We stayed in room 4 on the second floor. The room was much larger than the photos indicated and was very cozy with huge windows and a beautiful stained glass doorway onto a balcony overlooking the street (although we didn’t use it, being cold and blustery in November!). Ensuite Bathroom is small but well fitted with a very comfy tub. As mentioned it is a 3/4 wall, but as a couple, that didn’t bother us. The two double beds are firm, but comfortable and I slept extremely well. The free Breakfast is self serve that you take to your room - croissants, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea etc. I found it very charming. The location is great, inside the city walls within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, convenience stores — the whole old city. Parking is not free, as it says in some places online, but is discounted via a ticket the owner gives you. The designated underground parking is about a 10 minute walk away. The downstairs entrance does smell of smoke, but the rooms do not at all. Don’t expect a sterile chain hotel - if you want that go somewhere else! The house is old and it shows, giving it the feel of a cross between an AirBnB and a traditional Inn. Overall a great, cozy place to stay with a friendly polite host and homey feel at a great price! I’d highly recommend to anyone on a budget who likes to feel like they are coming home at the end of the day.

Hôtel Champlain Vieux Québec

Our stay was great. Our room was very comfortable and the service was excellent. I appreciated bringing my small dog as well. We will definitely stay again. The food was delicious especially the eggs. The only suggestion would be to consider having some salmon as well.

Liked it. No ice though
Hotel Jardin Ste-Anne
109 Rue Sainte-Anne, Québec, Québec, G1R 3X6, Canada
Great location, ok prices, decent rooms. Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff who allowed us to check in early and then helped us call the bus station to check on status of bus in the snow storm. Would stay here again if I return!
Do note that it is a small, old hotel with no lifts and many stairs so be prepared to climb with your bags. We had backpacks so it wasn’t a problem although manoeuvring around the corridors were tricky with large bags
Hotel Le Cavalier Du Moulin
58 Rue Saint Louis, Québec, Québec, G1R 3Z3, Canada
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cavalier du Moulin on July 20th. The hotel is quaint, clean and in the center of the shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. The hotel is over 160 years old and feels very European. Yes the rooms are a little dated but that just adds to it's charm.
Auberge Saint-Louis
48 Rue Saint Louis, Québec, Québec, G1R 3Z3, Canada
Super cheap. Convenient parking great location. Really noisy but that's because it's a great location. The AC didn't work and it was very hot. I've been to QC around 20 and this location was the easiest.
Hôtel Marie-Rollet
81 Rue Sainte-Anne, Québec, Québec, G1R 3X4, Canada
Staff is super friendly. I was their for two days and this hotel was one of my takeaway. I just thought the room should have been made once a day at least.
Hôtel Maison du Fort
21 Avenue Ste Geneviève, Québec, Québec, G1R 4B1, Canada
What a delightful, charming place to stay! We stayed at the Maison du Fort the last week of May and were delighted with the hotel, the location and Marielle. Marielle (and her cat) have created a cozy house/hotel which was a great launching pad to seeing Quebec City. The room was very comfortable, the location (near the Parc du bastion de-la-raine) was perfect, the muffins and other baked items for breakfast were delicious, and Marielle was very helpful telling us what to see and where to go. You won’t get the features of a three-star or four-star hotel, but it really didn’t matter. We weren’t there to sit in our room. The cat is very friendly too. A Canadian friend had told me Quebec City was the prettiest city in Canada and I agree. This little hotel was a great place to stay and added greatly to the charm of the city and enjoyment of our trip.
Hôtel du Vieux-Québec
1190 Rue Saint-Jean, Québec, Québec, G1R 1S6, Canada
We booked on Expedia which was a mistake. I am convinced hotels set aside the rooms that they are less likely to rent. I kindly inquired with the very friendly front staff if any other room options were available and they went out if there way to put us in a nicer room. The rooms were modern, sharp, very clean and the location is the best you will find in the old part of town near many of the best restaurants. Very comfortable beds. The coffee station in the lobby has on demand espresso, etc. Very friendly staff that know where to go for what you want and how to get there.

Hôtel Clarendon
57 Rue Sainte-Anne, Québec, Québec, G1R 3X4, Canada
Really romantic (if you get a corner room) like a time warp, you feel like a 30’s gangster living it up.
Hôtel des Coutellier

Amazing location, small room, pleasent employees.
Hôtel le Saint-Paul
229 Rue Saint-Paul, Québec, Québec, G1K 3W3, Canada
Good location, dirty carpet, nasty with a terrible room smell. We have to buy Lisol to mascarade the smell. for the price we expected something else.
Smelly rooms equal to bacteria, Fungus and zero housekeeping..
