Hotel/Motel

Great location for a good price. The rooms are spacious the one we stayed in seemed recently renovated. The bathroom had a shower tub combo with jacuzzi bathtub. The kitchen was a small galley kitchen with full oven range, microwave, coffee maker, small fridge and a sink, some pots pans utensils plates and cups are provided. Beds were comfortable it had a balcony big enough for 2. The amenities we're nice multiple pools and hot tubs spread amongst the properties they own. And of course there is the beach and ocean. They offer pool and beach side drinks and food during limited hours and times. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are the AC in the kids rec room above the indoor pool wasn't working very well, secondly we wanted to order lunch by the pool on Saturday of labor day weekend and we're told the cook called in and they couldn't Serve us, then they recommended a local pizza place that they said would deliver, but we called them and they couldn't deliver due to a driver calling in. All and all a good experience tho I would go back wish we had stayed for a week.

It's the Days Inn so you know to have lower expectations. I was in a room that didn't seem to be used often. It was nice but had several areas that showed evidence of the presence of roaches. I had been looking forward to a convenient hot breakfast but with 6 tables and 3 servers they were in the weeds and couldn't even get me seated. I would try another place the next time.

Realistically this hotel is a 2 or 2.5, but I rated it a 1 because the average google review needs to be lower to reflect the true star rating of this hotel. The decor is 70s style which is fine, but there has not been any remodeling since. The Bad: 1.There were stains on almost every square inch of the carpet. 2.The mattress was so loud that I would wake up every time my wife rolled over in bed and when checking for bed bugs (yes, it was that kind of place). I noticed the mattress had no mattress pad and had stains all over it. 3. There were multiple holes in the wall that had been patched but never repainted. The walls had numerous spots where it was obvious bugs had been squashed but the residue never cleaned up. The good: 1. We never saw any bugs in our room. 2. The sheets and towels were clean. 3. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating 4. We requested a pack-and-play for our baby and the staff actually went out and bought a brand new one for us to use.

Clean rooms, good service and affordable price. All appliances and furniture are up to date and in good shape.

Friendly helpful staff. The room we had was updated and very clean. Beds were so comfortable. Had everything we needed. Very reasonable. Older motel but but no complaints. Rooms were fresh smelling. Loved that our room had no carpeting and floors were very clean. Highly recommend staying there.

Spent a night here. Decent place, very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were neat, room was fairly big enough. Breakfast was fairly ok with packaged items, coffee, juice and hot chocolate. But the property itself is worth the penny. Met the owners, very nice people, warm reception when we stayed at the property.

It has been the perfect place for a family with kids. The staff is amazing. I have the ability to cook meals for my kids. I felt my children where safe at all time. We where very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff

Upon reading the older reviews I was exspecting a bad experience but I stayed for a month for work and it wasn’t a bad time. The new owners are nice and very helpful. The rooms are not bad for the price.

Wonderful place to stay. Thank you so much for everything. Sara and King was so helpful people. We had some problems on the our road trip and they are very very kind and helpful. The house is very nice and the breakfest and service was excelent!!!! I’m so happy to found this place. Thank you so much!!!!

Very cute and quiet motel located less than 5 minutes from the beach. Staff is very helpful with locations around clearwater.

I stayed at this motel several years ago. It was a nice place to stay just outside of town. Quiet at night and the owner was very sweet. I liked the place so much that I almost bought it.

The rooms are NASTY!! Looks like the floor hadn't been vacuumed in for ever! The carpet was nasty, sticky, and just grimmy looking and feeling. There was no toilet paper. The beds was NASTY and my niece and sister-in-law got eat up by something in the beds (thinking it was bed bugs)and there was cockroaches everywhere. It was awful... but at the same time it was a roof over our heads for the night out of the cold or some what out of the cold... felt like the heater wasn't blowing out hot or warm air but it worked a lil at times and again I say it was a roof over our heads and a place in out of the weather for the night!¡!¡

Front desk host is patient and helpful. Location is convenient and safe. Exterior is seemingly well kept, interior not so much but they're working on it. Meaning they need to apply some fresh paint and stain remover to the carpets.

Been staying here for a while now and have really enjoyed my stay. Quality hotel and Alma at the front desk has been incredibly helpful and kind making our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend

We have enjoyed all of our autumnal visits to the Winstead Inn. The Winstead is the reason we return to the Cape each year. It is the best run Inn we have experienced and a welcomed escape from the big box hotels and resorts. The warm, casual yet refined atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing escape. The Inn and it's grounds are beautifully maintained by the owners and staff all of whom are passionate about making your stay with them the best it can be. We look forward to our next visit.

This is our 15th year in a row staying here at this wonderful resort. We love it so much, Rick and Nancy are fantastic hosts and they have a wonderful property situated only a 1/4 mile from a public boat launch and Lithia Springs Marina. The entire property is very well kept, the fishing ponds are fantastic and there is plenty of space for activities with kids, especially on the west side 9f the property. The cabins are very clean and comfortable, a mix of rustic and modern log depending on which you choose. A great place to plan a big family/friend get-together event as there are alot of common ground areas where you can play games, hang out, etc. Lithia Springs Marina offers reasonably priced overnight slips so if you bring a boat you don't have to launch every day. For eats on the water, choices are very limited but check out "The North End" a new restaurant at the far north of the lake (formerly Skeeters) it's awesome! Can't say enough!

We just stayed there on 1/15/19 and it was the worst motel we have ever stayed at. I wished I would have read all the reviews before hand, but we wanted to make up our own minds. The bed was like wood pallets with a inch of padding, I could hardly walk the next day. In the whouw room there was four outlet plugs, and two of them onlu had one left to use, only one bed side table, one table light, one floor light and that was it. The microwave we wouldn't use because all the rust. Cigarette burn marks on the tub And counter top in the bathroom, wall paper was coming loose from the walls. We had to park across the street where there was no lights. We will never darken there doors again and all for one night in February for $ 79.02 what a run down dump, the elevator last inspection was in 2017 it was a scary ride each time we got on, and oh' my Lord the smell. This place needs to be condemned.

Did not see inside or cabins. Closed for now. Looks good from outside.

Wonderful innkeepers, nice comfortable beds, lovely sitting areas (porch, balcony and living room). Location couldn't be any better! Breakfasts are fantastic (no need for lunch!). Fridge is in hall for guests to use. Only complaint is blinds are not darkening enough, sun comes up early in may/june/july in this part of the world (like 4:30 am!)
