Steve Fix has been my lawyer since 2015 in an ongoing case. He is very professional and straightforward (which I like), and obviously knows his business. When I was charged with a serious offense on another on a separate matter, he had the charge reduced and I was released free and clear. I am very confident to have him represent me in the upcoming case.

Melanie is truly doing what she was born to do. She is not only brilliant, but her mind works at a blistering rate. When I was seeking a lawyer, I interviewed 7 (expensive but worth it). The one question I asked every lawyer I talked to was "can you provide me with a plan?" to which 6 replies were some version of "If you want, I can do it." I did not need to ask Melanie, in the first 20 minutes of talking to her, she had given me a precise short term plan, and more information than all 6 other lawyers combined!! Her communication is crystal clear and can be terse, so I understand that she will rub some people the wrong way... but would you rather your lawyer cut you off at the pass when you are going down the wrong path, or would you rather hear that from a judge when you are in court?? I saw her argue my case. SHE WAS AMAZING! Her estimation of everything that would happen was exactly what did happen!! Thank you Melanie. Thank you for advocating for me. Thank you for being you.

Ron is very straight forward and to the point. The divorce process is very exhausting, so it was very nice to have somebody tell you what would and would not work for your case. He is very reasonable with his costs, as well. It is hard not to get upset during this process, but he and his assistant keep you focused on what needs to get done. My ex-spouse's lawyer tried to do some shady things in our case, and Ron fought back for me.

Be careful of stephen brophy, told me I controlled the facts when pleading and then didn't let me change crap, and didn't defend me to the best of his ability I believe, the plead deal I signed seemed to have more stuff added to it later (didn't have all info on it) he acts like he's trying to help but just wants to meet his legal aid quota, if you're going through legal aid, run
