Tried to check it out with prices and brought my service dog who served 5 years in the marine corps with me and the lead instructor literally yelled at me to leave and wouldn’t answer any questions until my service who was literally just sitting at my feet left the building

Fantastic place to get in shape and learn how to defend yourself. Been to many other gyms across the city over the years. None have the same customer service, accessibility, and coaching like UFC Gym North Edmonton. All coaches for the martial arts classes have fight records that you can google. Most are or were professional fighters. Downside is some have left due to the moratorium on fight events in Edmonton. However, the ones left are exceptional and will make you feel comfortable regardless of skill level. Pet peeve about other traditional gyms in the city is typically the owner/operator is also teaching classes. Therefore, there is a due process to prove yourself in order to learn certain techniques. Also, it can get ackward because he/she is also in charge of your membership. While, at UFC gym, the system is great because no matter which class I go to; I get the same or better level of training. Regardless if I was there 1 week ago or 3 weeks ago. No questions asked. tldr: Accessible, great customer service, professional, and big facility.

Amy's Taekwondo is the best school for marshal arts in Utah. My son loves the classes, parties, Summer Fest, and Summer Camp activities they have. He's been going for almost 3 years now and has made a lot of friends. We love the tumbling and sparring classes and the sparring gear is awesome. The instructors are great and care about every student, they really go out of their way to help every kid to gain self confidence and amazing skills while the classes are fun and well organized. This is a black belt school and the instructors have been training for years to earn their black belts and the skills necessary to teach taekwondo and to help students be successful.
