EMA 5 stars We've been part of the EMA family for years!!! I've lost count how many :) because we keep coming back. 3 out of 4 of my kids are/were students. They know you by name, the instructors connect with the students and teach valuable lessons both on and off the mats. Definitely recommend!

I have been doing Karate for about 1 year. Previously, I was very klutzy and NOT an athlete. The experience has been fantastic. This is FOR REAL and not a McDojo, with a strong focus on form, positioning, stances, conditioning. We also learn tips on restraints and takedowns, so the learning is also practical Okinawan karate is more traditional than Japanese karate. In fact, karate spread from Okinawa to Japan. There is a reason why true Karate masters live forever. This is the type of dojo and quality karate that you can stay engaged in for the rest of your life, for great health benefits. If you want a quick blackbelt, go elsewhere. Likewise, if you are into MMA, go elsewhere. If you want high quality, durable, sustainable karate with practical application, then this is your place!

Helped my son see of his hidden talents.

My son really enjoys attending ATA Martial Arts. So far, it has given him joy and more confidence. Mr. Jung and his staff are very friendly and nurturing, teaching the kids not only martial arts, but respect towards others. In addition, I liked that there was a self defense class the other day for members and siblings as well.

Its is a cozy place to stay

My two kids joined UMA almost three years ago and love it. The Stillwater instructors are AWESOME! The entire staff is professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better environment for my kids to grow up in or around!

I've trained here with Sensei Paul and Sensei Ted for just over 5 years, and it's been a tremendous experience. My greatest fear when I began my search for a martial arts club was that it would be intimidating, but the Abbotsford Karate Club is an inviting group of dedicated people who have joined for many different reasons. Over the past years this group has become like family to me. The instructors are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and dedicated. The overall pursuit - self defense and respect - I originally joined up for has benefited me in all areas of my day-to-day, but being apart of the group at the Abbotsford Karate Club has transformed my life. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve fitness, or/and wanting to learn a martial art.

Mamba is so knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. He has many years of experience and is amazing with the kids. Great coaches and equipment. I would recommend his classes .

Shidoshi Tylor is a great instructor, I enjoyed my session a lot and would recommend his dojo and style of teachings to any one.
