The gym has outstanding equipment. It is always clean. The trainers are always on time, organized and professional. It is a pleasure to improve my health at this gym.

My son was a student for many months at the school before we moved out of state. Let me say this is by far the best karate school ever on the planet! I was overly pleased with the structured skills taught by Master Yu. They were impressive! The fact that the energy in the building is extremely positive had me sold upon entering. Master Yu's personality is simply the kindest person you'll ever meet. The discipline is shown in such a healthy way that the students automatically have the highest respect for their instructors. Master Yu sets the tone for being a great leader so gracefully. My son had nothing but respect for Master Yu and the other instructors. Every time he attended class he was intrigued with excitement and dedication. He looked forward to going everyday because he was actually learning. But more importantly, I noticed that he was listening which was something he failed to do at times. The other thing I admired that students had to do were writing assignments to show their diligence and how hard work is earned and not given. The teachings and guidance taught here at this martial arts school is bar to none! The authenticity of the foundation to the basics is set apart from any other karate school my son had attended. The bonus that you receive for being a student here is that Grand Master Yu teaches and passes on ancient traditional martial art styles and skills( nothing you can learn about in a book). How cool is that! My son has developed the greatest skills in martial arts and he applies them to his everyday life. He looks forward to continuing his journey to being the best he can be in life using martial arts.

My daughter has been training at FMA for about 6 months and has learned so much in such a short time. The teachers (sensei') at Fonseca as well as the staff are amazing! Never once did my daughter feel left out or ignored, every time we come to class here at FMA is always an exciting and fun time!

Trained here for several years. they have a fantastic, supportive community that is open to all abilities both physically and mentally. Very knowledgeable staff whose goal is to help you improve as a person alongside teaching you taekwondo.

Mr. Dunham is excellent at connecting with his students, especially children. He does a great job at instructing, teaching respect, and building confidence. I would highly recommend Dunham's Martial Arts.

Friendly and inviting family atmosphere, without sacrificing quality detailed instruction and high training standards. FANTASTIC for beginners of all ages (YES, bring your 4-year-old; you won't be sorry! NO, you are not too old to start!) and anyone that has always wanted to learn a fighting art from Level 0 without compromise and without judgement. I have over 10 years of martial arts training in three different disciplines -empty hand and armed, military and civilian - and I can say unequivocally that this is an *excellent* dojo. My 5-year-old son ended up here through the school-parent grapevine and I wasn't expecting much...but I couldn't have been more wrong. Within a month I had joined a class as well and the instructors accepted my lack of knowledge in their art, prior experience in other arts, and persistent injuries and took them in a graceful stride that cannot be understated. Young children learn discipline, respect, mindfulness, and the pride of hard-earned progression through positive reinforcement. Fitness is encouraged at all levels, totally judgement-free. Solid street-level self-defense is deftly incorporated into the curriculum. You truly cannot do better than Sensei Jaye and her team.

I had been hearing about this club for years before I began attending classes with Kru Shayne Morgan. Its everything I had been looking for! Instruction is directed at competition and defense, and is taught from a background of competition. Fitness classes are accessable to any fitness level, and those interested in going further, stronger and harder are only limited by themselves. My club-mates are respectful and it feels more like a family or team, rather than a class.

My son has made a tremendous change is just a few weeks of joining Sidekicks Martial Arts he loves it so much and has kept him motivated. He has gain leadership in school and at home. I am very happy with the way they motivate an the way the encourage them to be better in all aspects of their every day life. Great school great instructors.

It is so great to work with Serge and Energy martial. We work in the French School in Calgary and the children love it. They are more confidence. Serge is very professional and the children love him.

Tried a few times over a few years to sign my son up. First time was told he was too young, understandable, then a few years later I left a voice mail for the owner to contact me and never heard back. Recently I tried again signing him up for classes and that fell through too. Not going to waste anymore time.

I miss this place and going to Saturday morning Mma practice with mr ice.
