I've been training here for over a decade and have benefited a great deal. The dojo is committed to traditional Okinawan karate both as a means to self-improvement and as a method for self-defense. The community is supportive and welcoming, so long as students are respectful and prepared to work hard.

Best kung-fu school in the country hands down.

This historic martial art covers it all: Kicks, Punches, Joint locks, Self-defense, Weapons, Fitness and Flexibility. It's the national self-defense form of South Korea and has been featured in movies by Bong Soo Han and Jackie Chan. The people at this non-profit organization are humble and accepting. It's a great place to work out.

Amazing place to train at for people of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. High level teaching and structured curiculum.

I started my kids at JK Martial Arts for Taekwondo in the spring of 2014. 1 month later I joined myself , Hapkido was my choice . Master Kim and his staff are professional and very skilled. We have 2 Korean Masters every day and a 3rd is coming to town to stay next week. There are also several other instructors from 3 degree down. My kids and i both achieved the Rank of Black belt in December of 16 and are currently working towards our 2nd degrees. My kids are on the Elite Team and travel to tournaments with theyre teamates as well. More importantly , my kids are learning much about the intangibles in life , such as , respect for self and others, goal orientation , accountability, and self defense. They are A students as well, Master Kim teaches kids to make school work and respectful behavior a regular part of life. For my part, I am in the best shape of my life at 51, I've made friends that i did not expect , and we are part of the JK Family. Very grateful for JK Martial Arts and Master Kim !!!!

My daughter took the program all the way through black belt when it was the old school. That being said my son started right when Master Rhee took over and I can say it is 100 times better. The instructors are amazing with the kids, the classes are are great times, my son can't wait to go! I love that it isn't a "everyone gets a trophy" kind of place...they teach discipline, and a work ethic that I believe gets lost sometimes. These kids love and respect the Masters and instructors while truly learning the forms and techniques, along with discipline and self worth. I am so glad I decided to put my son in TKD, but even happier that Master Rhee and his team took over.

Debra and Danny are two of the most caring people and are very knowledgeable about all things Tae Kwon Do. They get all of my referrals.

My experience with this club has been nothing but amazing. I highly recommend this class for weight loss, self defense and self discipline. And they offer the best tournament opportunities in the province.

Great classes for kids and adults. Lots of options for everyone to enjoy including Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Judo and Muay Thai. Clean gym too, which is important!! Love the gym family!

My wife and I went to the House of Martial Arts based on a promotional offer they had around St. Patricks Day (wonderful deal, btw) and before the first class was over we felt that this was a place that we could see ourselves wanting to come to. The facility is super clean (they take pride in how much they do to keep it sanitary), the staff and instructors are extremely amicable and encouraging while giving you lots of one on one attention, which is great as a beginner! They offer a variety of classes including: Fitness kickboxing, Hawaiian Kenpo/Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA training classes. Each of these has different areas and techniques that are the focused on depending which day of the week it is. For example, for Kenpo, Mondays are stand-up fighting/combat kickboxing, Wednesdays and Saturdays are Jiu-Jitsu grappling (ground fighting) days, and Fridays are stand-up fighting with an emphasis on self-defense. Soon after the trial, my wife and I decided to train full time in Hawaiian Kenpo which is the schools specialty and its secondary specialty jiu-jitsu. It has been one of the best things we have done for ourselves physically and mentally as the art and instructors help build you up beyond what we thought we were capable of. My somewhat timid wife who never had any fighting experience in real life or training is now confident enough in herself and her skills learned here that she is considering competing in jiu-jitsu competitions in the future! I can't recommend Sensei/Owner George Nae and his staff enough for anyone that is interested in improving upon themselves!

My son has been attending for over a year and we love it! Teaches so many essential skills and we adore the staff!

My children have been attending Highkix Martial Arts for over a year now and love the experience. The school has increased their physical well being and also their self-confidence. They have made many friends and continue to improve their Tang Soo Do skills. Instructors give individual attention as needed and the owners provide many events for the entire family such as picnics, movie/date nights, amusement park and baseball game visits, Minecraft and Nerf Gun nights, and holiday parties. Everyone feels a part of the Highkix family!

Initially I was nervous about joining IMA because I was completely new to martial arts and completely new to the area (I moved from Kansas), but after having been here for a month I can easily say it was the best decision I've made since moving here. Everyone at IMA is incredibly friendly, patient, and willing to help, and I can honestly say all of my best friends in the area have come from this gym! Even better, they have brilliant instructors who are incredibly skillful and yet don't give off the overly-egoistic/controlling vibe that you occasionally find at other gyms. Being part of IMA is like being part of a big-extended martial arts family. If you are on the line about joining, I would highly recommend taking the free-trial class and coming out to meet everyone!
