We decided to transfer to Elite TKD Center after my two daughters received their 1st dan black belts from a different studio.
I have watched Master Paul give his full devoted attention to each and every one of his students and is always there to help those who are struggling with their form and sparring techniques.
If anyone is looking to enroll their children in a taekwondo school, I highly recommend Elite TKD Center without any hesitation!!!

Taekkyon is amazing! A one of a kind martial arts. Master Hong teaches the original style of Taekkyon without the influence of other systems of martial arts added into it (Other Orgs are known to add extra techniques from other systems). I have trained many styles of MA in the past. Master Hong is an incredible teacher. He is passionate, focused and patient. At his school Taekkyon can be approached in multiple ways. One is a slower paced, full body (Health Exercise) style of Taekkyon, reminiscent of Tai Chi. Another is the full system taught as a Martial Arts first, where applications and concept are drilled in from the beginning. Taekkyon is also taught as a fast paced impact exercise reminiscent of Kickboxing while utilizing Taekkyon techniques. All ways of learning eventually take you to the same place. Its just a matter of which approach is best for you and how far you want to take it. Master Hong focuses on the core principles of Taekkyon, teaching the skill needed to achieve proficiency step by step. Taekkyon is an intelligent, well thought out system where no movements are wasted. Every movement has a reason, and every reason furthers the concepts learned. This system is surprisingly efficient. Taekkyon also focuses on a healthy body by building strength without straining the joints along with active breathing techniques. This is a super cool and unique place to train! Also, you aren't going to find anything else like this in the entire US at this point! Wi Dae Taekkyon can only be found in Seoul Korea and La Crescenta, CA. Although Master Hong has a Korean accent, he always takes the time needed to make sure you understand what he is teaching. I really feel like I found a hidden gem.

I like going to train. The part I like most is training with my little sister. Taekwondo keeps me active and teaches me new things. You should all join, it's fun and you learn to defend yourself.

I visited last year, while doing a gym tour of southern California. Students seemed to have a very good grasp of BJJ, as did instructors.
Unfortunately, I got the Cobra Kai feel, when I tried to escape someone's guard by grabbing their legs and turning to flip them, a move I have done safely many times as a white Belt.
The instructor very aggressively said to me that we they "Didn't do that stuff here" then went into a 10 minute speech, after having everyone sit down to listen, about how he didn't expect to have to tell people these things and that certain moves were dangerous.
All respect for protecting his students, but there really should have been a sign posted about the rules of the gym and what to expect.(I was not eye gauging, slamming or hitting anyone. I am always very polite, if not overly so)
I have been to many gyms and find most to understand that not everyone knows the ins and outs of jiu jitsu.
All in all, I felt a bit bullied and the atmosphere was not as welcoming as other gyms I have been to, based on mat banter, flow and instruction.
This gym may suit others, but just didn't seem light-hearted enough for me.
