Great instructors for the kids, it teaches them a lot of responsibility and respect. The price is fair and the schedule is flexible to fit any family's needs.

Destiny Martial Arts is a fantastic non-profit organization that teaches the art of Tae Kwon Do. Since my daughter started training we have seen her confidence blossom. Her physical endurance has greatly increased and she has learned valuable self defense skills. I love the emphasis on teaching respect, perseverance and discipline. DMA is led by Master Johnson - an expert 7th Dan Tae Kwon Do master. We are fortunate to also have two 4th Dan instructors (brothers Jori and Colin Parrott) who have great technical skill and are superb with the students. I highly recommend DMA to anyone seeking to better themselves physically or mentally. It is especially useful for people who have been bullied or people who wish to join a sport that they can learn leadership skills in.

I am appalled by the behavior and actions of the owner/ instructor. I enrolled my son into taekwondo to build his self esteem and confidence. Instead he received a false accusation that we was being a bully at school and a lecture from the instructor, that was more of an interrogation, to get him to admit to something that he did not do! When I intervened into the situation to advise, in a calm and controlled manner, that he stepped out of his jurisdiction and did not have the right to interject into a situation that did not occur at his Dojang. Rather than apologizing for his error; I was presented with hostility and anger. I was immediately asked to leave and not to return. Upon leaving; I was followed and threatened with physical violence. Not a reaction that one would expect from a so called Master Black Belt, his lack of control and reservation is concerning. Especially when he is attempting to teach five tenant’s the first being Courtesy- Respect yourself and others. Kind of ironic from an individual that demands respect himself but refuses the honor you with the same respect.

Super friendly staff and great atmosphere! My wife and I will a little sceptical at joining as we had zero experience or knowledge but Betty and Tina were amazing and made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

My eldest son has been studying tae kwon do at Summit Martial Arts since September 2016. During this time, we have really enjoyed being part of the Summit family. Mrs. Morris, Master Morris and all of the instructors, take the time to get to know students and address them all by name. Summit teaches students the value of hard work, practice and dedication. For each skill set that is mastered, students are awarded a stripe on their belt. Once they have earned the required number of stripes, they are invited to test for the next belt. Students quickly learn that being invited to test for a promotion is a privilege, and you have to earn it. I am genuinely impressed with the way that Master Morris takes time to explain concepts to students at an age appropriate level. He encourages, coaches and mentors them to improve not only their tae kwon do skills, but also how to apply what they have learned to their everyday lives. Master and Mrs. Morris have been very supportive of my son inside and outside of the dojang. They are approachable and easy to talk to. The whole Summit experience has taught us that you can achieve your goals if you stay focused, dedicated and work hard The cost of classes is quite reasonable, when compared to other activities. I have taken into consideration that tae kwon do is twice a week, and students are learning so much more than just a sport. In addition, the class schedule is flexible, allowing students to attend the most convenient classes. .

Notice this new business in this mall. Through the big glass windows, you can see clearly from the outside how the coach & assistant teaching the kids. There's quite a number of participants and seems enjoying the class well. The parents are sitting besides to show their support too. That's a good illustration.

Great Martial Arts School for adults and kids, with great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this school to everybody! Great respect to Master HA for his vast knowledge and experience and to all the instructors that are doing their best in teaching Tae Kwon Do.

When trying to find a gym, I tend to look out for five main factors; instruction, training partners, overall gym attitude, gym cleanliness, and cost. And on all points, Evolution meets and exceeds the quality I would hope for. This is the best BJJ school I've ever trained at. The instructors are talented and skilled grapplers, but are also capable of expressing to students the proper execution of technique down to finer details. Further, they genuinely care that you get the technique right and will put the time that you need into helping you. The training partners for the most part have a great outlook; people are there to improve themselves and their skills, not to try to kill each other. That doesn't mean you won't get tough rounds in if that's what you're looking for, but you generally feel safe that most people aren't going to try to rip your arm off. The overall attitude is so refreshing, as people are very welcoming and are there to have fun and grow together. If you ask someone a question, across the board you'll have them do their best to answer and help you. Further, it's not a "traditional" BJJ school in the sense that you're bowing and scraping and saying "yes sensei" "no sensei" and being chastised for "not showing proper respect," but it's also not so laid back that people show DO show disrespect. It's a very balanced, comfortable environment. Finally, for all those qualities, it's clean and also totally reasonably priced !! It's the best gym I've been to, and it's been by far my favourite thing about Ottawa for the year that I've been here. I cannot recommend this school enough.

The best karate school. High technical level, international competitions or just for fun, you'll find what you're looking for.
