I visited the Newcomer Information Centre to ask for contact details of an Inland Office of the Canadian Border Service. Instead they wasted my time asking for information they had no right to ask. Not even vaguely professional. This is exactly what you get when you install refugees in important positions.

Ive been at Douvris for 3-4 years now. The place is excellent. Friendly atmosphere, cool instructors and solid training all around.
I found Douvris only after exploring several other schools around the Ottawa and Kanata area and it is hands down the best place ive been to. It has helped me sharpen my craft and expand my striking knowledge to a high degree, all while having fun and being challenged by my world-class peers and Sensei's.
Very greatful to this dojo for helping me throughout the years. 5 stars.

I've tried so many others clubs in the Ottawa area and this one is by far the best. Amazing instructors, great environment, and so many diverse martial arts. This is the only club that teaches Sambo which so much fun. I really recommend this dojo.

I watch their classes a couple of times and finally joined. The students are pretty friendly and the instructors are very knowledgeable. They are teaching both Chinese hearth exercises and traditional Chinese martial arts. This means there is always a lot going on in each class. The biggest difference in this school is that there are no belts or other types of rankings ... progress is measured by personal achievements.

We've been coming here for almost two years and it was fine. Last month they called asking us to renew our son's taekwondo membership early, so we payed for a year up front. We showed up for class a couple of weeks after that and discovered they had fired the awesome teacher my son has been with for 5 years (the whole reason we came to OAMA), and totally cancelled the class . All without any communication - and then discovered they were refusing to give us a refund. What a terrible way to treat loyal clients and the kids you're supposed to care about.

Orleans Taekwondo is a family business that really does emphasize the family aspect over the business. It is very easy to feel at home here.
The school offers lessons for adults as well as children but my experience with it stems from my being the parent of a young student. It has been a wonderful environment for my child to do great exercise, develop self-confidence and self-discipline.
I would like to thank Master and Mrs Gibson for providing such a rich environment for my child to develop in and keep fit.

The facilities themselves are extremely clean and well cared for. And the people are caring, inspiring one another to reach fitness goals.

Dropped in a few times during the week as I was out of town. The owner, Jonathan, was quick to respond to my request to drop-in and was quite helpful and flexible in assisting me in picking times during the week to come in. Coaching was superb and the WODs varied throughout the week keeping me engaged and challenged. The "clients" attending were super easy going and laid back making the visit feel more like being at my home box. Highly recommend any "out of towners" to give CF Actus a shout when coming to Ottawa.
