Darkside Muay Thai
130 Birch Ave, Kitchener, Ontario, N2H 4W6, Canada
Train like a fighter. That is the main element I search for when choosing a new gym. Is it going to be geared towards athletes? Do the coaches know what they are doing? Am I going to feel like I am learning something new?
Darkside Muay Thai answered all those questions. Last year I was looking for a new place to train, with many choices I could go with. I tried one class from this gym and I was hooked. The atmosphere is electric, friendly, disciplined, and fight oriented. As someone who has been participating in Kickboxing and Muay Thai for 6 years, I was happy to come across this facility. And even if someone is doing it for mainly recreational reasons, they will have an awesome experience. The gym caters to a wide group of people, not singling anyone out.
The drills, workouts, message, people, and prices, are all great. I am glad to say I train at Darkside Muay Thai.

Golden Triangle Aikido

Sensei is an exemplary mentor and teacher to each and every student. His ability to pass on his skill and knowledge is invaluable. The other senior students in the dojo, especially the yudansha, are very helpful and patient with less experienced/new aikidoka. I would not hesitate to recommend GTA as THE place to start or continue one's journey in Aikido.
Budokan Karate
69 Colborne St W, Brantford, Ontario, N3T 1K6, Canada
Before joining the Budokan dojo I had done a lot of research about what was offered in the Brantford area. I soon decided to begin my training there because it seemed like they offered more traditional karate training. The price was also far more reasonable then other dojos. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Sensei Ken is a fantastic teacher along with Sempei Dave. They take the time to know all the students by name and welcome them into the karate family, teaching every class and giving individual attention and care to each student. I have always felt very comfortable and welcomed there and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to learn the individual art of karate.
