Martial Arts

best place to learn taekwondo. In my experience, i have grown and learned under a caring taekwondo family. the atmosphere in there is incredibly friendly. I dont plan on stopping anytime soon :)

Our child has been attending classes at Tiger Woo's World Class Tae Kwon Do for a little over a year and we have been so happy with the experience! Her balance and coordination have increased greatly, and she is learning wonderful life skills like respect, focus, and discipline. The instructors are wonderful, always full of energy, positive, and enthusiastic. We feel like they genuinely care about the students and want them to succeed. We highly recommend Tiger Woo's World Class Tae Kwon Do!

Incredible Instructors and Program! My wife and I visited the school from out of town and I am very impressed with everything they do. Their facility is immaculate. Their instructors are very encouraging and friendly. Their program is very motivational and teaches not just to be a better martial artist but also focuses on being a better person which is what martial arts should be about. If you are looking for a place to grow as a family this is the place. I would strongly recommend contacting them about becoming involved. - John Bryant / Super Kicks Karate, Salem VA.

We have been going to Peck's TaeKwonDo America for almost two years and our experience has been awesome! The staff, instructors, and Ms. Peck are the best. They're supportive, ecouraging, and energetic. The school feels and acts like a family and we couldn't be more glad to be a part of it. Edited to add: we have been attending this school since August 2010, so almost seven years at this point. I still highly recommend it.

My son absolutely loves it here . Master Keith has been wonderful and has taught my son a lot I love that Master Keith is strict and disciplined but fair. I would definitely recommend Volkenburg Taekwondo.

Crossfit Core Ktown is a world class training centre nestled in the beautiful lake of the woods. Coaches blend caring and pursuit of excellence in perfect balance! Programing is solid and fun. Folks who train here are welcoming and friendly. Encourage both locals and visitors to give it a try!

Hidden and one with nature. Enjoy the scenery with a walk on the grounds. Connect back with yourself.

Great class sizes and personalized instruction! My son loves going to his Kung Fu classes and Sifu Dan is a great teacher!

This pool in Kingston is great..has a ramp going into pool ...worm pool and cold pool .really nice

I lived in Kingston for the past summer and wanted to get back into training MMA after doing it for a couple years in high school. Hayabusa offered a very happy and healthy atmosphere with great instructors, and safety/respect-oriented programs for all levels. Chris and Janet (the owners) are huge beauties and I would highly recommend this gym- I don't usually write reviews but I wrote this one because I figured I owe them.

I have been going to SHAKU for almost two years now. I was very nervous to start an exercise regime on my own but sensei and the other members made me feel comfortable instantly. Sensei creates an environment that pushes you to try your best and move past your own limits but not in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable or judged. I started on a 20-class kickboxing Groupon and am now working on my Martial Arts belts. I also recently started my five-year-old twin boys in the martial arts program and they love it. They are shy boys and she has made them feel incredibly safe and welcomed. I would highly recommend SHAKU for both adults and children.

The Jung Do Martial Arts Academy provides its students with an extremely well rounded and thought out experience. Master Cumming leads instruction with high level martial arts training in a welcoming environment. Required of each student to round out this instruction is an unwavering mutual respect for others and community, discipline, and FUN. My son eagerly looks forward to each class, camp, or event as do we. We would recommend Jung Do without hesitation to any prospective student or family.

Amazing people in a positive atmosphere. Traditional martial arts for the whole family.

Succulent, moist, fresh. These are just some of the thoughts you may be experiencing when you dine in at Tallack Martial Poutinery. Served fresh and hot, with just the right amount of Goju gravy and a HEAPING portion of Tallack's cheese. I highly recommended the poutinery to all non diabetics.
