Joel is a miracle worker! I highly recommend working with him as he solved all of our problems and gave us peace of mind and ensured a successful mortgage closing despite many issues with the builder and bank institutions. He is responsive, diligent, efficient, very knowledgeable, approachable and just overall amazing to work with. There was no question he couldn’t answer and he really worked so very hard to make sure we were happy clients. He is almost always reachable and provides excellent advice. I only have fantastic things to say about Joel as our broker and I look forward to working with him again.

I guess there is no option for zero stars. My spouse and I were referred to Calum Ross Mortgage by our real estate agent. Our agent was great, and her recommendation was awful. These brokers were so difficult to get a hold of, and when we did, they were inconsistent, and pushy. We explained several times, to several different brokers, that we wanted bridge financing because the home we were selling was owned by an estate. After several months, and several brokers assigned to our files, only at the very last minute did they tell us that none of their lenders would give us bridge financing. They could not return our calls, and one particular broker (we're told he's since been fired) was incredibly pushy, and had no interest in explaining why he was recommending a certain lender, other than to say "it's the best one". When I told him I wanted to know why it was the best one, he accused me of "playing games". This was a horrible experience and I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Enzo has been a great help in purchasing our first home! He's not only a mortgage broker but also a great adviser to us! He helped and guided us in every step of the way. We are so grateful beyond measure. Highly recommend!

Our experience of this mortgage broker is only 2 star for the following reasons. 1. The individual managing our portfolio does not follow up on communication as per the agreed upon timeline. 2. No personalisation of services. Too many miscommunications. 3. Does not take the time to help educated new clients on how mortgages work. 4. When late to follow up, has excuses on why he was unable to manage our expectations in a rather predictive way. I do not like leaving a poor star ratings, but this is left critically in hopes that this business can improve upon these four points and in the future receive better performance reviews. We ended up going having to reach out to our family and friends for recommendations on finding a different broker. I hope this review helps people in the future.
