Greedy liars that do not keep their word! Scam Alert!!! Do business with anyone else!!!! Written quote which was issued from them was not honoured the day of despite the quote clearly saying that it will be guaranteed for 14 days! If they cannot keep there word on a written quote why would you trust them to move your household contents across the country? I contacted them to get a pod to move some items from Nova Scotia to Alberta. While I can understand errors may occur on their part they still need to honour their word and give me the guaranteed price on the quote. Instead of honouring the quote they instead attempted to blame me for their mistake. All they had to do is to have an ounce of integrity and take personal responsibility. Had they apologized and said something like "While we are prepared to honour the rate quoted as our word is our bond perhaps you can understand the burden that this would place on us. Would you perhaps be willing to receive a 50% discount (or to do it for what it costs them).

I couldn't have been happier with the movers, their customer service and their efficiency. Living alone and stressed out with moving to Toronto from the Maritimes, my movers put me at ease with the pick up and the delivery, they also take great care with your belongings, I would recommend them to everyone.

Moving with Kingsway was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They started out with great pricing and told us our items would be shipped between the 2nd-10th which was ideal for us. Once we got closer to the move date there was "an error" in quoting, and our price per pound was raised, the dates were also pushed to expected delivery between the 16th-20th. The day before the move they called to ask us how many items we had and to get an estimated inventory of our things, then sent us a revised quote, changing our estimate from $700 to just below $2000. We immediately called to sort this out and Tracy assured us that this was just an estimate so they knew how much truck space to reserve explaining that we would only be charged for the actual weight of our items. She went on to say that it would be no trouble at all to give them a call the day after our items were picked up to get our weight. She sent us a spread sheet to fill out on our own and send back to give a closer estimate of our item weight, which we filled out right away and estimated our items to be around 2500 pounds. When the movers arrived they were friendly, careful and very fast. Once they had all of our items on the truck they gave us the invoice to sign off on and yet again our price per pound had increased. We called and asked to speak to Tracy, she said she would check with a manager and call right back - which she never did. We had to sign off to let the drivers leave, but noted on the invoice that we had not agreed to this price and were waiting for confirmation from the manager. Fast forward to four days later with still no word from Tracy, we emailed asking if there were any updates and inquiring about our final item weight. Her response said that there was no error, the lower price was a mistake because they were not aware we were moving out East(this was completely alarming as we had given her our address upon booking over a month in advance). She went on to say that our total would be $1973.64 because our item "came between the minimum weight of 3525lbs". From here I sent a number of emails begging for explanations with very little response. There is no possible way our items weighed that much, and they refused to tell us the actual weight of our things. Our emails would be avoided all week until 4:55 their time on Friday, when they would call, leave no voicemail, and be unavailable for the weekend. We frequently asked to only be communicated to via email so we had things in writing, they would respond with an apology, answer none of our questions, then call a little while later. In the end we had no choice but to pay to get our things, they tagged on a $100 warehouse fee at the end that we hadn't been informed of as well. Again, the movers were great, but were not actually employees of Kingsway. We are still emailing back and forth and they are taking no ownership of the mistakes they made or lies they told, I could go on for days about the terrible customer service we received. To sum it up, Kingsway is a bunch of scam artists. I would never recommend them to anyone. If you absolutely have to deal with them make sure to get everything in writing, and just to be safe have an extra thousand dollars kicking around because I'm sure they'll find a way to take it from you.

Movers are professional and customer service was on good level. Will call again for local delivery

Delivery was scheduled to come on April 26th, but nobody showed up, we wasted a whole day waiting without even a phone call from this company! Until now, we haven’t heard a word from this company. It is a Wayfair order, couldn’t understand why Wayfair would chose to work with this terrible company!! Update: Today is April 29th, We still didn’t get any call from this company. Even Wayfair couldn’t reach this company.

We recently moved from Kitchener to Winnipeg and highly pleased by the service of H.K Movers. Excellent service, timely response, great reliability, taking very good care of your belongings and affordable price..... what else you expect from your movers. They've done a very good job. I've already recommended them to two of our friends who are moving from Toronto to Saskatchewan and Winnipeg. I'll not hesitate to do the same in future.

We have dealt with HK movers twice for our moving and they are best , trust worthy and professional team . They provide their timely service and would recommend to others for moving. Not a single damage we noticed while our moving was done. Good luck and appreciate their service.

I hired this company in December 2014 to move from Brampton to Windsor. I was given the price over the phone, I explained I had about 100 boxes and bins, I went over all my furniture in my fully finished 3 bedroom townhouse. They arrived a hour or so late, 9:00am, they took till 6pm to load my stuff, kept complaining I had too much. He starts telling me we can’t fit everything so start elimating things you can do without. They took lots of breaks and then informed me that by the time they get to Windsor as it took so long they would not be delivering my stuff till the next day. I went to my new home and had to sleep on the floor after leaving so late to drive to Windsor. The next day they are to deliver at 7am they show up at 8:30 am and dump all my stuff in the rooms, no beds put together like other moving companies in the past. They took no more then 2 hours or less to empty my contents. My visa was provided for a specific Ageed upon price. Spoke several times prior to the move. I found out in a few days my visa has been charged double, over my limit. I contact the company they say extra charges for km, time spent, overnight charges etc. I ask for a breakdown only provided hours. I don’t get my single mother discount as promised. After several months of fighting get my small portion of discount back, because I never received the confirmed pricing by e-mail as it was to be sent to me a few days prior to the move. I was busy getting packed didn’t realize I never got that email, but got 5 other emails about confirmation dates, times etc, I was unable to dispute the Visa charge with the bank. I was screwed, you have to move out on closing dates, I guess I was lucky nothing seemed to be missing. Beware of this company have your price confirmed, read the contact before you hire any company.

On Second Street these male workers were doing some work for my neighbours and they were polite, friendly, respectful, professional, hard working and so very nice to my baby girl! Keep up the wonderful job!

Wow! Cannot believe that my moving is done! It had been a huge moving of a 4bedroom house and I would like to thank Carefree Moving Company for their support, for their professional approach and for their advices. First of all, they were fast working and hard working crew. Their energy impressed me much. They used different tools and equipment, so this helped them a lot, I guess. I have to say that my stuff came safe. I think it's because they've been using tones of tape and bubble wrap. Also I liked that the truck was o fright size, functional and clean. There were no delays - that's awesome. Describing in two words I can say that they are professional and trustworthy. I will use them again, for sure.

In a nutshell Aston Movers were a terrible experience. They punched holes in our walls, damaged our wood floors, we found damaged items in our boxes from mishandling like smashed vases, Aston quoted us a price and when it came time to pay demanded *more* money, repeatedly requested we make them breakfast and even lunch. He also refused to move certain items into our basement, thankfully the two gentlemen with him assured us that they would place the items as we requested. We sent them an email with pictures but it's been two weeks and we've heard nothing from them. Aston comes off as unprofessional and lazy, struggling to even bring a chair up the stairs and has very little disregard to your property, telling us that the holes in our walls can "easily be plastered". Do not hire them unless you have items you don't care to have damaged or need a quick and dirty move, expect the price quoted to change and have some food ready for him.
