This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I have moved a lot for work. The movers broke 3 mirrors and a picture frame, and when I finally spoke with a “manager”, he blamed me. He claimed that the movers were “professional” and that I must have packed them broken. I broke them and then packed them! He also literally yelled at me on the phone! My work colleagues heard him across the room. The movers also overcharged me by rounding up the time by 45 minutes, claiming they “missed breaks”, that they didn’t even mention they needed. For the last half hour of the time they were actually moving, I found them sitting in the truck. Once they saw me, they both jumped up and picked up a box. My brother and I counted 5 things they moved in the 30 min before they finished, and added another 45 minutes to it. I sent 5 emails that were ignored, and made 6 phone calls before someone finally called me back. The “Customer Service Manager” named Warren, is still yet to actually email me back. He said it would take 10-14 business days, and it’s been 5+ weeks. Not once did anyone even apologize for the experience. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They will drive extremely slow to waste time, unpack slowly, break your things, ignore your calls and emails unless you want to book something and they want more of your money. They will also blame YOU for any issues and don’t even think about getting an apology.

From the moment I booked the truck with Sarah, I felt I was talking to real person who wanted to help make the strain of moving as easy as possible. The movers, Graham and Brody were professional and respectful and the job was finished beautifully and efficiently from start to finish... including a phone call after the job to make sure all went OK. 5 Star plus! Courtney, Josh and Alex were fabulous. They were on site 15 minutes early, thoroughly prepared, fully professional, and totally likeable too! They explained their process, laid down runners to protect floors and carpets, and went to work. Three sets of narrow stairs to deal with, all on a very hot and humid day. They were done in no time. No damage to anything, and everything packed neatly and safely in the truck. What a pleasure to have such a crew and such a painless move. We are recommending Rent A Son to all our friends. Angel movers is simply a great moving company. From the estimate with Johan, the coordination with Anna, and the moving team of Shane, Sam and Ty. They were all very professional, friendly and efficient. I was amazed that the moving team were able to move a 3 bedroom house and a piano ( from a different location) all in one trip. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in the future.

I had a recent, very positive moving experience by Available Movers. Merab, Peter and Dito did an excellent job on a hot day, having to deal with stairs to the second floor and a couple of challenging pieces of furniture. They arrived on time, worked fast and efficiently, there was no damage to furniture or surroundings. The price was very reasonable. Thank you!

We had a great experience recently moving from Oakville to Grand Bend. Barry Stibbard (very nice gentleman) made our quote and oversaw the move, the very professional Joe Bueller crew. We can only say good things about the moving crew, a great, happy, tight, lively, hard working gang (everyone seemed to have their specialty) that kept going until the 18 wheeler was full the first day and empty the second day (after a 3 hours drive having to go back again at the end of the day). Nothing hurt or broken! We also found the price right, after ending up doing 4 quotes. Great work guys! Thanks.

Worst moving company. Moved from BC to Toronto & these idiots broke everything inside the truck. When it arrived in Ontario & he opened the truck, my stuff was everywhere, upside down, broken & wet. Do not use Allied !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0 - 10 stars

I hired Ascent to move several pieces of furniture including 2 sofas which had to be taken down the stairs from a 4th floor apartment and up 1.5 flights to the destination. From the great pre-move communication, through the on-time arrival in the morning, to the delivery, set-up, and clean-up afterwards, the men and the company exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend them to anybody looking for a mover!

I had movers booked for my day far ahead of time but the day of my move they didn't show up. I called around and after several companies said they couldn't help I finally got a hold of Peter at Manhattan Movers. Peter was so helpful and calmed me down. He had a crew and a truck at my house less than an hour and a half later and these guys were great! I can't speak highly enough of Peter and the crew at Manhattan Movers. The bill was easy to understand with no surprises. The crew was clean, kind, and polite. All my stuff made it flawlessly(including some very delicate antiques) to my new home. Thank you so much Manhattan Movers!

I can't emphasize enough to warn everyone in the entire universe not to hire these scandalous swindlers. even if it costs thousand more dollars I still recommend going with the more expensive option. My case with these phonies is currently with the police and consumer protection office of the government of Canada is also involved. I was at a point ready to give up my belongings and buy everything all over again but the police advised me not to as that would be giving up my rights. Be prepared to have a lawyer. The secretary and drivers are very polite and professional. But the owner who is also the manager is the rudest abnoxious knifing deceiving charlatan you can imagine. Heads up, everyones English is SEVERELY BROKEN and NONE COMPREHENDABLE!! Basically they send you workers to take pictures of your items and give you a quote and of course despite the pictures they still don't get the items right. after so many back and forth or getting the items right they ask you to sign the contra
