They will refuse to sell you contact lenses unless you have an eye exam with them

So my glasses were falling off my face. I didn't buy my glasses from that store and automatically, the girl just help me out by curving the arms a little more. She even took the time to double check if it was well done. Sounds like nothing but I was just recently refused the same favour by another big name glasses shop. That was enough to make stop going there. That negative experience made me think it was worth recognizing the help the employees provided me ! Thank you !

Very glad I stumbled across this clinic, Dr. Nagra was very professional and accomodating to my concerns. My eye exam was pretty cheap too, only $100

My first experience with new look was actually at the trainyards location. I had brought a frame i had in to have my new perscription put into it, they were given 1 job, order 2 brown transition lenses... i got grey, picked them up just before vacation, nd wasnt able to take the time to send back my only pair of glasses... so i dealt with it. But wasnt planning on returning to new look again. Fast forward one year, and my wife needed to get some glasses, she had lost hers. It was on a sunday that we went in, and she wanted to try the new look at St Laurent, when we got in the store, it was busy, and we were greeted by this wonderful lady, who explained to us their promotions. My wife can be a very particular person when it comes to her glasses, very rarly changes the style she chooses. The optician was busy with another couple of clients that were there before us, there were way mor customers than staff in the store, but that's what happens when staff call in sick. The only staff member who was there bounced arounded between the clients. Ive worked in very stressful retail environments, and was immensely impressed. She actually helped my wife decide upon her frame, one that she had suggested, which my wife would have just overlooked.... and they are her favorite pair of glasses she has ever owned. The order was correct, and everything went very quickly once we had decided on the frames. My wife decided to buy 3 pairs, since there was a 2 for 1. Fast forward another 2 weeks to today, and i am reaponding for the 2 pairs i judt got myself. I went straight back to look for Kylee the manager. In our first visit, we had not even realized it was Kylee the manager that we had been dealing with. We only learned that when my wife called the store last week and asked to speak to the manager. She gave the manager a glowing review of herself, once she realized that she wanted to send something to their regional manager to Express how impressed she was by Kylee. After reading some of these other reviews, I decided i needed to put something here too. I have met Kylee now on 4 seperate occasions, she has been nothing but kind, charming, professional, and an absolute pleasure to deal with in every way. New Look should consider themselves lucky to have her.

👍What an awesome and friendly place.👍 I was walking through the mall and I asked about my sunglasses. The problem with them was that I was missing a screw holding the plastic lens in place. They said go get you’re glasses and I’ll take a look. I went out to my car and came back with my glasses. Lise spent 10 to 15 minutes going through idk how many different sizes and lengths of screws until she found one and fixed my glasses. The two best parts of my experience there was that. A: I’m not even a customer B: I don’t even need glasses. And she took at least 20 minutes out of her busy day to serve a non client. Now that’s dedication and Incredible customer service. I’d recommend Point Of View Opticians to anyone. Great job Ladies.

Worst customer service ever. Was refused by store manager to purchase contacts because my nails were apparently too long. I have worn contacts forever and she would not even let me show her that I’m capable of taking them out. Yelled at me in front of customers

Staff is friendly but glasses are terrible. I was assured that my glasses would be anti-glare, however they have a distinct green filter and massive glare. It was so annoying I couldn't wear them and I returned the glasses. The owner claimed he sent them to the lab and they changed the lenses. However I saw no difference, still massive glare. The glasses were on sale, I guess you get what you pay for! I went back to the store for the 3rd time and asked staff to remove the lenses from the frame and will have the lenses replaced by Hakim Optical.

I had good service, no long waits. They even called me a couple of weeks (maybe 2 months?) After I got my replacement frames and lenses to see if everything was ok, which it was. They also offer free cleaning fluid refills when you run out! This place is much easier to drive in coming in from the West also, as the car entrance is extremely close to the intersection of Montreal Rd and aviation parkway. Don't even thing about trying to turn left when you'll want to exit the parking lot! ;)
