About 4 years ago, my dog went missing. After 2 days, we went to the animal shelter and my dog was in the outside area. WE NEVER GOT A CALL. If an animal is found, and they have a tag with a phone number on it, they are supposed to call. Anyways, we walked in, and said that our dog named Evo was outside in the cages. He asked what collar was his, and gave us some papers to fill out while he retrieved the dog. The papers had him listed as a Collie mix. He's an Akita. He also fed the animals hotdogs. However, the animals seemed well kept, it was clean, and the staff was polite.

I bring my four year old son here frequently to visit the animals, he loves the farm animals and cats. For all the people complaining about them putting animals down need to STOP. google animal abuse stories, i cant tell you how many animals coming from shelters or free craigslist ads, even strays get tortured and killed. Im sure i speak for every animal when i say they'd rather be put down humanly than handed to a complete stranger to be tortured and killed. Or sent to a prison as a foster dog and get killed by a prisoner. REALLY wake up ive known people who are soft spoken and sweet. And treated everyone around him Very well kills cats. I lost all faith in humanity after finding that out. He's still somewhere out there too. Don't want your pet put down? Don't bring them to a shelter. They only receive so much funds stop expecting them to save the world! Thanks for all you do lollypop farm but please stop giving animals away for free.
