Just rescued a dog that was originally purchased at Evas (for an outrageous price I may add!). This dog is only 3 years old and is crippled with skeletal issues, and is not even close to being the breed the store originally claimed him to be. (He is clearly a mix that was sold to an unsuspecting buyer as a "purebred"). Typical puppymill bred dog, and typical puppymill supporting store. The whole place sounds scummy.

First time visiting Urban Tails today and I found the staff very friendly. Great environment for pets. Great pricing for full service grooming. Would recommend.

We have been bringing our dogs for grooming for over the past ten years, and felt that the owner was extremely passionate about pets. She has always treated us with top notch service and very caring to our dogs with lots of patience. We have tried other pet grooming shops in the past and Modern Pets is still the top one and the only one that we would recommend.

Staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable! I always bring my bad boy here and he is always welcomed with open arms, even if we're just coming in for a treat (he gets his nails cut there so I bring him in to let him know that it's not a bad place). Sandra, who trims my dog's nails, is SOOOO patient with my beagle. She's one of the greatest staff members of this place! My dog was so terrified of getting his nails trimmed when we went to Petsmart but at this place, he's a little nervous but nowhere near as fearful as he was before. I go to this location all the time, and I would highly recommend this place!

I just got my dog groomed here for the first time. I was worried because of the reviews but he did a great job. Price is also good. Thank you! We’ll be coming again.

The staff were very helpful and kind, there betta fish selection was fantastic, they were all healthy with little debris in there containers.

Always friendly and has whatever I need , and if not they get it. As well if you purchase 12 (I believe) bags of dog food your 13th is FREE

Great service, small little family business, the type I like to support. The owner is super reliable, and very knowledgeable about everything they sell. I've been getting my pet food from here for years, was looking for a place that sold live rodents for a while until I stumbled upon their shop.

AMAZING PLACE!! I have been bringing my dog Percival (Percy) the chubby and fuzzy golden retriever for about 4 years now since he was a tiny puppy and he’s literally so excited every time I say “we’re going to see the girls!!” As soon as I open the door to the salon he jumps into their arms and slobbers them with kisses. They always treat Percy like their own even when he gets up to a bit of mischief! He comes out looking and smelling incredible! I would trust my dog with them any time, they are absolutely amazing and I seriously recommend going here! They are serious pros and you’re always greeted with a warm welcome here. Thanks ladies!

Very upset. Brought my dog to get groomed. Comes back with a huge cut on her ears. Which wasn’t even mentioned to us. As we only found out when she constantly kept on scratching herself. If this place was more professional they would’ve advised us about the accident that had occurred.

Best Big Al’s in the GTA, trust me I been to all of them. Great selection of fish and staff is very knowledgeable. The store is always clean, organized and fully stocked.
