Awesome pet food!

In the spring of this year I brought my dog to this daycare. I wanted to get him at least one full day of social play with other dogs during the week. I informed the owner at that time that I specifically wanted him to have a social interaction and stimulation while attending. I specified that I wanted to know if he had any questionable behaviour the moment it happened. Every day we picked him up we asked how he behaved. And every day we were told he was perfect and so well behaved. We were told he has a lot of energy but that he was such a good dog. I was informed by the new owner of this business that it was “common practice” to isolate my dog every day. She asked her employee why they were doing this and the employee said that my dog did not get along with the others. I wish I would have been informed of this earlier! I would have like to have my dog see a specialist immediately. Instead I paid for months to have him punished. He had to spend the day listening to the other dogs playing. This is the exact opposite of what I wanted. It even states it on the waiver I signed. The waiver mentioned that they may use a number of calming techniques and that isolation would be a last resort. But every day? Surely contacting me about his behaviour should have been a option. They have no incident reports or documentation as to why they did this to him. I really feel that I should get my money back. The waiver does not state that they can charge me for services that were the complete opposite of what I requested. The new owner has been hard to deal with. She has been extremely sarcastic and condescending in our correspondence. She has even responded with a list of smelling and grammar mistakes I have made. ( I know I suck at typing on my phone!) Totally not the issue! She mention that it is my responsibility to track down the previous owner to get my refund and that it is not her problem. But I gave my money to popular pooch daycare. That’s where my money is. I’m getting my dog some professional help. I wish I could have done it months ago when the problem occurred. This has been a nightmare. I wish I never considered this daycare.

They do an incredible job of caring for our pet like it was their own. And, every stay comes with a wash included so the little furry one comes home clean and with a pleasant odor.

owner and wife always go out of their wey to help us a customers - - - they always werkin hard wen their there it's difficult to keep real good staff as its very demanding werk---hats off to owners ! - - consistency of quality of wash (mixtures of soap) is definitely getting better - - staff is always close at hand to help

I have taken my dog Odin to this kennel for years and He always comes home well kept . Staff is very good .

I came here looking for cat dandruff shampoo. I wish I got the lady's name. She was so friendly and gave me some info on my cats coat, to help with the dander. I will deffinatly be taking her advice and try to find the best diet for my cat to help maintain her coat. Another lady in there gave me her card, Carissa. She works in carstairs and she does cat grooming. I will deffinatly take my cats one day to be pampered because of the customer service i recieved. If I had dogs I would bring them to doggy day spa. Super friendly ladies. Thank you for your help!

Organised, well stocked, and friendly staff. Good prices and some hard to find food brands, plus a good selection of raw.

Friendly and quick. I did a walk in nail trim and was pleased with the care they took with my little pooch. I will be retuening!

Every time I've been in this store the staff has been so welcoming and helpful. You can tell they love what they do and that they are really in it for the love of animals.

One of my favourite Petlands to visit! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned me was the state of the "playroom" for the cat. The floor and toys seemed very dirty, but I chalked it up to it was likely close to the end of the play session, where it would be cleaned afterwards.

Amazing Groomer!!! My dog always looks like a million bucks and smells heavenly after his groom. Patricia takes time for her clients and makes sure all their needs are met. Would definitely recommend!!
