One of the first days I took my kids here she yelled at me because I was early saying that "she was a grande mother also and need time with her grande children" also, a family member that helped at the daycare felt the need to call me and make it very known to me; that my baby had ran out of milk. Even wanted to argue about it and tell me about how good she takes care of her children. Again, the owner of the daycare says that my bay is sickly and cries to much and that she doesn't need to be picked up or feed every time she cries. Next the daycare is not big enough, and grownig babies shouldn't be here; they have no room to develop. Due to the lack of attention given to my child she stills has a problem with her legs and can hardly walk. She has weak legs cause she didn't get tummy time, or any play time out side of her play pin. Please be careful who you leave your children with I brought them a full term heathy baby to take care of any now my child has issues.

I loved this place. The facilities are beautiful and you can tell the staff truly does care about the students. Mr Jensen is amazing, and mrs stone was golden. The only real downside is the bullying, and that was quite extreme for me. However it doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, it seems like I was just an easy target. An amazing school, my only advice is don't be a six foot tall blond girl.

Our daughter started at this school in 2016 and we love it! The teachers and staff are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Any time we've had general questions or suggestions they have been very open and receptive. Everyone is kind, approachable, and they truly care about the children. It is nice community to be a part of.
The outdoor space is amazing and our daughter feels so free running around and "adventuring." I feel they do a nice job following Montessori principles (which differ from traditional public school methods) and that was a priority for us. She learns so much and truly enjoys being in school. We are planning to keep her here through sixth grade because it's such a great place!
Alsion Montessori

I am a pleased parent of a student at this school. Most of Alsion’s enrollment comes from word of mouth referral. If you encountered our school on the Internet, you have found a hidden gem of a private school.
When I was searching for a school for my child, I was looking for something small, where my child wouldn’t get lost in the crowd, where she could gain confidence by having a voice in class discussions, participate in extracurricular activities, and make meaningful friendships with other motivated kids.
Alsion’s small size is its greatest strength. With an enrollment of about 48 students and five full-time teachers, every child is intellectually and socially engaged every day.
All the teachers have an advanced degree in the subject area they teach. Each teacher takes a personal and long-term interest in each child’s progress, interacting with each student every day, even during the summers, for three consecutive years, grades 7, 8, and 9. ---One year more than a typical middle school, but that extra year elevates academic preparation beyond 10th grade at a typical high school. No child is isolated or ignored.
While the school lacks the resources to win state sports championships or national blue ribbon awards, it concentrates on developing the full potential of every student it is given to educate. Alsion is a learning community rather than an institutional school. But the kids are not isolated in a cocoon. They compete and collaborate with students from other schools regularly, in things such as Science Bowl, Model U.N. Debate/Speech, Mathematics contests, Business Market Day, Interact, Community Service activities, and more…I’m still learning
The campus is adjacent to Ohlone College. It leverages its proximity to the College for the benefit of the families it serves. Upon completion of 9th grade, Alsion Early College students are co-enrolled at Ohlone, where they can earn up to 72 units of college credit. Historically, three out of four Alsion Early College graduates have been accepted for admission to UC with advanced standing.
