Great food and very filling. If you like Costa Vida, Cafe Rio is a slightly fresher tasting version of the same thing. Unfortunately it's also busier and more expensive. The biggest complaint I have though, is that it's SO loud in there. They need to add more sound absorption surfaces because it's hard to end a meal without a headache as it is now.

What happened to our fav carrabba’s????? 😩. Cold food, crappy service, dry Romano cheese, no more fresh grated Parmesan, chicken bones in my mama mendolas soup???? Not to mention serving staff complaining loudly about a party of 12 coming in at 9. The last time we only gave a 15% tip was probably 20+ years ago!!!!!! And really that was too much, but it just wouldn’t be right to do any less. Wow.....the wine was good 😉 and my Marsala was still very tasty. PS - the table of 12 got better service than we did, since they wanted to get rid of them. Probably won’t go back😩

So at first everything seemed fine, had great customer service. The ladies up front were very nice and even asked if they could help in any way. After we ordered and paid we went to go sit down and wait for our food. When we sat down we saw a roach on the floor. We decided to get our money back and leave. We waited for over 15 min to talk to the manager and then he took another 10 min to get my money back. Also told me it wasn't a roach it was just a bug. Either way it was gross and we were not dealing with it

I was a little hesitant with the low ratings and reviews but I decided to give them a shot....Well all I can say is that it appears the owner must have made changes because the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Without a doubt the most authentic NEW Mexican food in the valley. They only use Hatch chiles and they make all their own sauces and salsas.
The best green chile sauce l have ever had (EVER, anywhere...even in Hatch).
Be aware, it is very small and they do not serve alcohol.
But their food is so good, you don't even notice.

Very good quality food and the staff is really friendly. I like to take advantage of their online ordering and the drive thru, it is very convenient. Their pico salsa is awesome and they also have some "american" food for the more picky of the customers. I also really like their sister restaurant Isabel's Amor.

We live their salad bar their croutons are wonderful. Their isn't one close to us. We go when ever we are near
