Good food when cooked and served by the owner

It was a great experience nice people great service delicious food

Can't go wrong when you want a quick bite but not so unhealthy. Also, I commend the Pollo Loco executives because their menu is ever rotating and very good items to choose from.

I went here a couple of times when in Highland Park for breakfast and enjoyed the papusas - good quick service, reasonable price, nice flavours, especially the loroco and chicharron, served with curtido and salsa. Great spot for a quick small bite to eat.

I love to eat here! The food is amazing

This place is awful. I and eat here at least once a week during 30 min break. . The staff is awful. I order my sandwich the way I want it and the staff make me feel bad because I’m particular on how I like my sandwiches. I made a formal complaint online. And left my info with the manager who was extremely rude. I asked why my sandwich was always such a problem to make and she basically told me that I deserve the treatment they give me. She told me to find another place to eat. I haven’t been back since. I haven’t gotten a call from anybody in the corporation which I was extremely disappointed. I’m a paying customer and at the end of the day it’s a business who should value a paying customer.

Good food service is ok

I adore their house curry. My buddy had calamari appetizer and lemongrass chicken with vermicelli noodles. He said it was really effing good. Plenty of veggies and really tasty!

This particular location has been a childhood favorite. But the best part is this one is always able to accommodate our large family of 12 (7 adults, 5 kids) with ease. The wait staff are all great and helpful.

I took a group of international (including a Taiwanese) and American college students on a trip to Chinatown, and I selected this restaurant mainly because I knew they would get a kick out of eating where Jackie Chan filmed. The restaurant took my reservation for 9 earlier that morning with no problems, and we ate the basic dinner combination, with soup, shrimp, egg rolls, chow mein, and fried rice, plus 9 dishes that we all shared. The dishes were so abundant that we could have sufficed with half as many, leaving us stuffed and with lots of leftovers, enough to feed each student for another meal. But what you probably want to know is whether the food tasted good. The answer from all 9 was a resounding YES!!! As the other leader in the group said, each dish he tasted was the best! He has led many tours of Chinatown and tried different restaurants, but none was as good as this one. I will most certainly plan on using this restaurant in the future when I take groups to Chinatown!

Everything is cheaper during Lunch time, tasty food

food is great, price might be a little towards the high end but for the most part it's worth it. service on the other hand feels a little lacking. I understand they're a small family run business, but I've been there like 3~4 times now and each time, the server, even the boss lady, all seem like they're rather tired. they're not rude or anything thou, mind you. anyway, still worth a visit if you like good food.

This shakey's pizza is clean.pizza and mojo's pipping hot! Will keep coming back to this location. Friendly smiles great service.

The food is great!! The service is top notch. The giant shrimp are amazing. The prices are reasonable. A must try! You'll continue to come back. Best sea food around!!
