Friendly staff, good food

I am on campus for 3 weeks of residency. I found the cafe to be excellent. This is not your typical cafeteria food with food service attendants .. The chefs here make a-la-carte dishes with REAL ingredients, from-scratch sauces, and prepare them expertly. I have paid far more for far less. I also found the chefs to be very polite and accommodating for any sensitivities. Presentation is nice, and portions are very fair. Definitely a great place for a hot meal.

Food and service always great

Fantastic family restaurant with a comfortable, cozy feel. Wait staff really knows their stuff, food is brought within the perfect amount of time (not too quick, not too long). The seating is comfortable and well spaced. The food tastes homemade! Our family has loved this restaurant for many, many years.

Just do the Mahoney and split with your friend. Food rocks, staff are amazing, but you will line up for your table. But they serve you coffee while you wait so who cares? I don't, I go there all the time.

My husband is a janitor at Turmeric next door. I wasn't in the mood for curry for breakfast today so I decided to check out what was close by. I was delighted to find this all-day breakfast place. I've lived in View Royal for 3 years and I've been in Victoria since 2008. I'm surprised nobody told me about this place. I came across it when looking at google reviews. In any event, Chef made me a Belmont Benny this morning. Bacon cooked to perfection. The potatoes that come with the Benny are also cooked perfectly and taste lovely. I liked to dip them slightly in the Hollandaise sauce. VERY generous portions. They aren't skimping here... In fact, I am finding it is too much for me in fact... I've only eaten 4 bites of the benny and I am full. But then again, I did probably fill up on those MARVELOUS taters..(Chef calls them "hashbrowns). In any event I think I will enjoy the doggy bag. Staff is outstanding and open to suggestions. Top Notch Service! Good wifi connection as well. I will be coming back for sure, the next time I am no longer in the mood for... good curry for breakfast. But that might be awhile. I'm kind of picky about where I eat. I've really got to be in the mood and I hate eating alone. :( Oh well... Can't be helped today. @somena

Wonderful pizza! Delicious crust and a flavour of fresh spice topped with perfectly moist chicken! A little loud for good conversation but fantastic atmosphere.

A great sushi place and very friendly staff, our favorite spot for sure !
