Benihana

1989 Diamond Blvd, Concord, California, 94520, United States

Decent food, but the clientele is a little downmarket for my taste. It’s an ok place for something a little different, but the farthest thing from romantic. Remember that unless you have a large party you’ll be sharing a table with strangers.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

404-A Sun Valley Mall #Unit A, Concord, California, 94520, United States

Good food, but am writing this post because of the staff, they were great!! We had a one year old in a high chair, when I tried cleaning the floor around him, he's messy, he's one, lol they wouldn't let me. Most places will let me crawl around and clean up after, but not with them. Dude said, "it's our job, not yours". And he is kind of right. Good people right there.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

385 Sun Valley Mall, Concord, California, 94520, United States

Would like to give it 3.5 It's nice for a "casual dining" experience. I'd take friends and even work folks for a casual exp. Women can go alone and would feel comfortable and safe sitting at the bar. Many would enjoy sitting at the bar to watch a sports event. Decent food and they run food out (any server or busser, etc. and not ONLY "your server" will bring you food) so you don't have to wait for any one server. Full bar with a great selection of beers. I enjoy dark beers and, most joints don't offer any, except sometimes, Guinness. Food options are from American to Latin to Creole to Asian inspired. Portions are good and the price is fair, too. Customers wear shorts at lunch and, even some do at dinner. Nice place to dress nicely and meet a group of friends.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

486 Sun Valley Mall, Concord, California, 94520, United States

This place never disappoints! The deviled eggs appetizer is the perfect start to a meal of St. Louis style smokehouse bbq! I always recommend this place to anyone who will be in the Concord, CA area! It's a bit $$ but man it's worth it! Try the biscuits and whipped apple butter for starters as well with a big ol mason jar of sweet tea!
