Went to the Lantern for supper. Made 7PM reservations but due to traffic didn't make it until 7:15PM. We were greeted by Chef Casey. We sat inside. there was jazz music playing in the background, which reminded me of New Orleans. Our waiter Dave brought us slices of hot buttered banana bread to munch on wile we were waiting on our meals. I ordered the Filet Mignon. Tracy got the Lobster mac. The food was delicious. The filet was so tender..The sides were mashed potatoes and slices of brussel sprouts. The dining experience at the Lantern was wonderful. The friendliness of the staff made it worth the trip to have a wonderful meal. We will be going back.

This was an excellent place. The bbq chicken pizza that we ordered was fantastic. The service was amazing. It had a great vibe with a huge outdoor seating area. A beautiful bar and a giant brick that was gorgeous and place where all could see the pizza cook. I definitely reccommend this spot.

Outstanding meal and ambiance. We both had steaks and enjoyed the meal completely. Josh was our server and he did a great job making us feel at home. We will be back next time in Hendersonville.

My wife and I spent over $40 last night at a chain restaurant for an OK meal. Today we spent $40 for a much tastier and interesting meal. The food in this chef run restaurant is creative and of better quality. The small plates are large enough to share. Four of them filled up the two of us. The chili shrimp had just enough chili flavor to add rather than overwhelm the shrimp. The small cubed potatoes were roasted, not fried, so the Feta cheese made them tasty. The jalapeno pimento cheese with tortilla strips was good. The jalapenos were very small, thinly sliced and coated in sugar so they added flavor without heat. The chicken in the Cubano taco was flavorful and very tender from being marinated. We are disappointed that Never Blue is 1600 miles from our home so it will be a long time before we can eat here again.

Love this place, one of the best local food places in the area, great dogs and burgers, with an expansive menu that will please the whole family. And it is vegetarian friendly! The staff is always clean and always very helpful and friendly!

This is a great place to get authentic Mexican. Highly recommend the city street tacos; one each of the pork, chicken, and beef. Also the California Burrito is excellent. Super friendly staff, great house salsa and bean dip - can’t go wrong!

I am disappointed. The young man in glasses that is "always" there is horrible. I asked for a tomatoe basil wrap and he said they were out and only had spinach. The next person in line ordered the tomatoes basil wrap and the employee(not the person making my sub) said" hold on I'll go and grab one" went into the back for 2 sec and got a whole pack of the wraps. He is not friendly, and seems to hate his job. He is very sloppy and it seems that hes is always eating his own sub when I pull in. I see him through the window and he seems very annoyed whenever i pull in. I started going to the subway on the other side of town when i see him in the window.
