Towing

My (new) husband and I were honeymooning in Banff- went hiking at Johnston Canyon and were smart enough to lock our keys in the trunk! HAHA. We worked with Chevy roadside assistance who sent Standish Towing & Recovery. We were expecting a wait time of 1-2 hours but were extremely happy when our rescue came in less than 40 minutes!!!! He was super professional, nice, understanding and saved the rest of our day from being ruined! Unable to comment on price since we had roadside assistance coverage, thus 0$ for us. Thanks again!!!!!

This location is super friendly. They always stay waiting for the last flight from Vancouver to arrive to ensure you aren't left in the lurch if your plane is delayed. The reason it is not a 5 star rating has more to do with budget corporate who informed us when our plane was delayed (and couldn't provide a number for the desk at the airport) that we were out of luck and the location closes on time as per their hours regardless if you have a reservation tied to your flight info. This of course led to a bit of stress and then sheer relief when landing and this not being the case.

The 6'x12' Uhaul trailer I rented (dual axle) had been so poorly maintained that there was no brake fluid left in the trailer and the cap to refill the brake fluid was impossible to open by hand because it had rusted shut. I realized that something was wrong with the trailer after failing to stop for two stop signs because I was unable to stop with only the truck brakes and the weight of the trailer behind me. Whether it's a truck or trailer, make sure it's in good repair before leaving the lot, seems as though these rentals lack some critical maintenance

The guys at Kokanee Ford are the absolute best! Got a flat tire in Yahk on a road trip and made it to and to Kokanee Ford. They had a rim in the back, changed the tire and mounted it in 30 minutes on the Friday afternoon before a long weekend. Not your usual dealership experience. Thanks Kyle & all at Kokanee Ford!
