Trustee in Bankruptcy

I filled for bankruptcy, with another company. MNP does not care about your business. Their process is slow and you will need to handle everything on your own. You will deal with unfriendly people who make you feel like a deadbeat. Maybe they are better with consumer proposals. This company left such a bad impression with me that I had to post a review about them. Also they are more expensive. MNP $250/month. Bromwich and smith $179!

I had to make the difficult decision to rectify a terrible financial situation that I found myself in. I contemplated for months on what to do not wanting to take the plunge and ask for help. I was online googling bankruptcy and I found Grant Thorton Alger. Originally I chose them because I recognized the name and they were close to my house. I sent off an email and was contacted very quickly to discuss my options. I met with Nicole face to face and was very surprised with how comfortable they made me feel. I was never made to feel bad about myself or beaten down for the situation I was in, in fact they wanted to see me succeed. Not only did they assit me through the process they alse offered many suggestions and tools on how to avoid this again. I hope to never be in the same situation again but I know if I do it will be the NE branch of Grant Thorton Alger that I will call. I would recommend them as one place where you can get help and success and be treated with respect and proffessionalism.

Grant Thornton was there for advise when I needed it most, Bankruptcy is never a happy solution however GT (especially Angela) were wonderful. Angela was always just an email away no matter what I needed. If you are unsure how to proceed or just scared just CALL they will help you make the choice that is best for you. I would like your company that I dealt with Angela Lock, with my bankruptcy. It is not a pleasant thing to get through, it's embarassing & mentally draining. LIERS!!! They told us the day we were done paying off our consumer proposal that my husband would be able to start building credit. 2 years down the road and nope. His credit number has been on hold and nothing we have been working towards has done nothing and now banks are telling us 6 years. Plus the 5 years are paying it so that's 11 years!!!!!.. might as well went bankrupt payed less and by the time we would be been able to get a house. Waste of time money and hope. If you want to get the life sucked out of you and have every hope wreaked then this is the company for you! Change your name to liers, robery. You know the devil would of been nicer

DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! They claim that they're experts at what they do, however, they over promise and under deliver. Very expensive and not very detailed considering their hourly rate. Buyer beware Calgary!
