We brought our little guy pico in when our regular vet couldn’t get him in and I was VERY IMPRESSED!! They didn’t treat our baby like a dog they treated him like a part of the family!! Very friendly and helpful!! I am definitely now making them my regular vet from now on. Thank you guys for everything!!! I will definitely recommend you guys to EVERYONE!! 😊😊😊

Most of the staff is friendly, some could be more pleasant. They have always taken good care of my animals.

My dog had to have emergency surgery. The staff had a lot of compassion. When you come from the country prices can be scary but all in all worth every penny. Thanks for all you do, keep up the awesome jobs. 20/7/18

We have been bringing our beagle here since we moved to the area and have always had good experiences with the staff and doctor. They will advise you of what they think is best, but are not pushy about forcing a medication or procedure. Great place for your pets.

This is a kick-ass team. We have known Dr Richards in particular for several years and she has the most extraordinary 'animal-side' manner - she loves and cares and knows her stuff or strategizes hard to get information in unusual situations. We have also been able to see the other vets from time to time and this really is a power team - well recommended.

Took very good care of our new dog with surgery and post op needs and care was very well explained.

Union Lake has cared for my cat for years. Recently he had aging issues. The doctors were very caring and considerate of my feelings. They gave me honest options. In the end, I decided to let him go. The hospital set me up in a very nice quiet room to say goodbye. Definitely a wonderful place that really cares for the pet and the owners. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, intelligent veterinarians, very clear and honest with their pricing. I would highly recommend if you live in the down river area.

Fantastic service. Compassionate & competent vets. They don't cut corners, whether it's diagnostics, treatment, educating the customer on how to manage health issues, vaccination reminders, post-surgical care information, etc. I've brought 3 cats there over the years, and if I ever move back to Ottawa, I won't take my cats anywhere else.

We were looking for a new place to take our pets after being disappointed in the experience at our previous animal hospital. I am so glad we took this step! The difference was apparent as soon as we arrived for our appointment. We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff and a technician offered to let us wait in an exam room so our cat could be let out of its carrier and get used to the room. We were also offered coffee, tea or water. The veterinarian was lovely. We appreciated the gentle way that the veterinarians used when interacting with our pets. They were able to adapt to our stressed cats and our dog without problems. Thank you very much to all the staff for creating and maintaining such a welcoming environment. We felt our pets were treated with love and we appreciate it can be challenging especially when they are nervous. All services were clearly explained and quoted. Each bill was outlined in detail by a staff member. We appreciated the transparency. We believe we have finally found an animal hospital for our pets where we have a trusting relationship with the staff. They have set a new bar.
