Car Rental

I got the car July 2nd and had it until August 6th today, we went to clean the car to return it today and as we were cleaning it we found a dead decaying rat in the car. When I got the car there was an awful smelled I called about it a couple times to switch vehicles and was always denied. They always said we don’t have anything available at the time. So I had to drive the car around like that for a month and didn’t know the rat was even in there. I told them about it and the manager was very rude and they acted like they didn’t believe me. So luckily we took a picture but they acted like they didn’t care at all. Also when you got the car up to 60 it would shake also told them about that problem for a while they acted like they wasn’t even concerned. I have had a horrible experience and they didn’t care how I felt. I have 4 month old, 4, 5, 7 year olds. I’ve already been through enough just recently loosing my 4 month old that rode around in the vehicle. All of my kids or my husband and I could have gotten very sick. They wasn’t even concerned about that. Never rent a car from hertz location 1404 Cashua Street of Florence SC, they are not sincere at all and don’t care about anyone’s feelings!

Excellent service and prices

First thing is for an area that promotes tourism as it's main staple it amazes me that on a Saturday you can not pick up a rental car past noon in August and when I asked about the possibility of having someone there for around 2 pm to get my car for a two week rental the person seemed mortified I would even ask such a thing. The price from the same company a few miles up the road at the airport was almost double for the same vehicle and that location does not answer it's phone anyway, not a company I would recommend or seek out myself again, they had no interest in trying to help a person out she simply said nope we are closed at two that day.And in this comment section you have to check at least one star before you can hit post,I did not want to give any stars to this type of customer service.

Small office but friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely amazing. Easy to get and pick up our car. Drop of was super easy. Our flight was cancelled and they had not checked in our car yet so the lady came and found us to let us know we could still have it until the next day. Upon next day drop off the wonderful lady Kelsey I believe her name is, was super kind, friendly and accommodating for all the struggles we had had with our flight being cancelled. I highly recommend this rental company. Also the vehicle was clean and very well kept We used the Sydney, ns airport location Give Kelsey a raise

Would recommend . Good prices and fast service.

Excellent customer support allowed us to get our car a day early and easily extend a day longer! Staff delivered a car to our hotel which we appreciated so much. Thank you!
