Countertop and Tiles

I just needed a small piece of Marble for a threshold. Gina was super helpful and delivered it ahead of promised time and under initial estimate. I highly recommend!

Nice staff. Great product and free repairs any time I have hit the edge a bit too hard!

While big box stores offer a large selection of materials and services for homeowners, local specialty stores like Absolutely Floored offer more industry leading products with better personal service. Value, not price wins every time for me. That being said, after checking online reviews about the “Best Flooring stores” nearby our Burnaby townhouse, my wife and I made our choice: based on numerous high ratings and excellent Better Business Bureau approval, it had to be Absolutely Floored in Coquitlam. Our sales rep Steve took time to help us in the showroom to select a highly rated stain resistant yet plush carpet for use throughout our townhouse as well as an upscale vinyl planking for our kitchen (looks like real wood with wood grain patterns/contours AND 100% waterproof!). The vinyl planking installer was very professional and courteous. He did a great job in one day that included replacing the carpet on our lower stairs from the garage to the front door. My wife says this vinyl planking stairway means footwear dirt and grime no longer get tracked as easily into the house. The carpet installers also did an excellent job over 3 days, although it took longer than expected because we literally had a guest room full of storage boxes to be moved and replaced afterwards. We highly recommend paying the additional $50/room to have the installers move furniture for you. In our case, the installers also had to hire 2 extra movers for the first day to help get the work started. It cost another $150 for 2 extra movers that day but well worth it. Remember that an installation job is only an estimated cost, subject to additional ones in time and material basis. It has been a week since all this work was done. We received favourable comments from our cleaning ladies and visitors alike: our 15-y.o. townhouse never looked so good and inviting until Absolutely Floored did their job. (Of course, our painting the walls before this carpet and flooring was done enhance the look of the home too... ). Hope this review helps to convince you as we were that the Absolutely Floored does live up to their well deserved reputation as one of the best flooring stores in the tri-city area. I will be telling my friends and neighbours. (This review was also posted on Yelp)

Hardev was very helpful and knowledgeable helping with choices of flooring for our kitchen. Although he was busy he took the time to answer our questions. Will be returning there to purchase flooring and highly recommend this store.

We saw a Tile Lines booth at a home show and was really impressed with the unique tiles they had. Picked up their card so we could use them when we built our house. Although we looked at places closer to home, we always came back to Tile Lines. I was very nervous about picking out tiles myself, but I had no reason to worry. The staff spent a lot of time with me coming up with the perfect combinations. Great place!

As a contractor, I am extremely pleased with Area Floors and their Staff. I’ve worked with almost all of their staff at i the locations and the service is always professional and punctual. Specially Benie Lacambra, one of the showroom designers. She has been extremely helpful! Sending me notifications for material arrivals and answering any material questions I have. Also Devon, the Warehouse manager is another outstanding staff member! He is always in great spirit and happy to assist me or my installers with any material pick ups. Kat, the Showroom manager at the Lake Oswego location is very professional and on top of things! She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to materials and design. Thank you Area Floors Staff for all your hard work and amazing customer service. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for quality product and amazing customer service! Miguel Gomez

I went to Tile Gallery to see counter top and tile ended up buying a granite counter top. Their selection and price was outstanding and Eric was very helpful & knowledgeable about counter top at the end Our Counter top installed by their vendor Galaxy Stone Works and looks fantastic. We Recommend them to whoever looking for remolding.

Awesome

My beautiful quartz countertops or just completed in my kitchen with a large island, and two bathrooms and the laundry room, and I couldn't be more happy. The company was very professional, extremely courteous and clean in my home. I would highly recommend this company to use again

Installed 80sq' of silestone in our kitchen. There system of laser measure - cnc - install produced an exceptional final product. The guy who measured was very good and took his time to make sure it was right. The installers were quick because everything fit perfect. I would not hesitate to have Valley do work for me or my business in the future.

Brandon and his crew did a fantastic job installing our new Bamboo flooring and Mike was great to deal with on the sales end. The job was done in a timely manner and with complete professionalism and integrity. Would highly recommend them and use them again if needed. They completed the job on time and cleaned the entire area before leaving. Thanks again for a job well done!!

Great customer service, and creative ideas for our kitchen backsplash and stonework around the fireplace.

I’ve bought flooring for three houses over the past twenty years, ranging from carpet to engineered hardwoods and vinyl. After the first carpet arrived damaged, they immediately replaced it without charge. Another product was faulty and they again replaced it with no cost to me. The prices are fair, they take responsibility for the products they sell and the service and installations are friendly and professional. I strongly recommend this company. I am not being paid for this endorsement.

This was our first time dealing with Tile Town and we will definitely return for any tile needs we have. They have a huge selection available and the staff that is very knowledgeable. Chevonne and Joanna were a wealth of information. The customer service was amazing and the staff was able to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend Tile Town.

I have kept brochures from Granite Transformations since 2012. I was always intrigued by their process. We finally made the decision to redo our counter tops but we did not want to replace our back splash as we still liked it very much and we have a 400 pound stove we didn't want to have to disconnect or move. So regular stone replacement was out. So I finally made that call. From my very first phone call to the company I dealt with professionals. They are smart enough to know a well informed front line receptionist is a vital key to good customer service. Our design appointment brought very knowledgable designers to our home who answered all our questions, and there were many. We still had a few logistical questions and wanted to see some of their work and so were invited to the showroom to see first hand how things would be done. While there, their installer actually came out of the shop to answer some of the site-specific questions we had and even gave us some advice on the type of faucet that would best suit our needs. (And he was right!) The next step was templating. It is an amazing and very exact process, which we were very intrigued to watch. Again, the templater who also happens to be the owner, gave us some design advice that turned out to be spot on and exactly what we wanted even though we weren't sure of it at the time. At the same time, he engineered a solution to getting the counters in without moving the stove. Unbelievably competent! The installer was then back to do the job. This guy, like all that came before him, really knows his stuff. He had some tight parameters to work with within our kitchen and he did a great job. Now I will say we had a couple of scuffs on one wall and some window trim and a small scratch on our stove, but given what he had to do and the space that we asked him to do it in, we were not surprised or worried about that. The wall took 10 minutes to fix. This is the ONLY reason that I did not give 5 stars. I think there is always room for a little improvement! But they really are a 5 star company! But from beginning to end, Granite Transformatioins is a professional, friendly, customer oriented company to deal with. Our counters look absolutely fabulous. We could not be happier. They made sure we were always on the same page all the way along, with letters explaining the next step and our obligations to be ready for them. This is a GOOD company. They really care about the customer's experience. I would not hesitate to use them again if the opportunity came up and I would not hesitate to, (and already have) sing their praises to my friends. If you are considering this work, do it! It is slick, clean, basically mess-free, and installed in one day. Couldn't be easier! We are SOOOO glad we did it. The counter tops look absolutely fabulous! And Bonus! We have a gorgeous new black stone BLANCO sink! I love my kitchen again. Thanks Granite Transformations, for a GREAT experience!

Amazing job!

We ordered countertops from Archstone Kitchen Countertops & Cabinets in September 2017 (Henning Drive in Burnaby). The owner came to our home to measure the dimensions, and gave us some useful advices. The job was well done, and the price was very reasonable. We will use this company again and recommend it to our friends. Olga, Kevin

Very helpful staff and the only company that has a good supply of Osmo.
