I have had some very painful experiences in a Dentist chair. At Roots on Whyte I have no pain, considerate, kind treatment and feel confident that the very best is being done to care for my teeth.

I have personally never liked going to the dentist. When I was younger I had braces and had dental appointments every month for years. As an adult, my dental visits are often infrequent, but I think that might change now. After a recommendation from another person, I had an appointment at Guardian Dental. The staff were incredibly friendly, nice and my teeth cleaning was much better than expected. Katherine, one of the two main dentists who owns the practice, is very friendly, professional and a wonderful human overall. One more thing about this dental practice is that it is environmentally conscious, which is an initiative I support.

I've been going to Whyte Ave Dental Choice since 2008. The care has been excellent over a range of procedures and with several dentists, all grounded in the highly skilled and knowledgeable hygiene provided by Amy. Referrals for specialist services are handled easily if you need them. I've always liked the fact that the helpful receptionists take care of most of the routine filing of paperwork with dental plans. I have also been going to University Dental Choice for convenience because it is a little closer to the LRT, but WADC seems to be easier to make changes to appointment dates and times. I've had dental care in other parts of Canada and abroad, and this is by far superior to anything I've experienced. A well-run, helpful, friendly, professional, no-nonsense, and prevention-focused clinic.

I've been seeing Dr. Neufeld since I was 12 years old, now I'm 27. My whole family comes to Apple Dental Care as well, because we simply trust their expertise. Dr. Neufeld has redesigned my smile with braces, veneers, gum recontouring and I've never smiled so much in my life. I'm one HAPPY girl. My mother loves the fact that Dr. Neufeld offers dental treament under sedation and all her dental care gets complete in 1 appointment. It's perfect when you can leave Apple Dental Care with a complete understanding with what has happened, what will happen, and what can happen. I love my DENTIST and her STAFF. They sent SOMEONE ELSE'S x-ray to the surgeon I saw to get my wisdom teeth out. THANK GOD they took a backup x-ray at the surgeon's office and that I noticed that "hey there are more wisdom teeth on that x-ray than I was told I have"... I can't even imagine what would have happened had they gone in blind.. I can't believe it!

Poor service The people in the front don't even have authority to correct the mistake they made. They charged my mom something which they shouldn't have charged when I cane back to ask them for the refund they told me to come some other day since office manager wasn't there and I came back twice and same thing office manager wasn't there so I still didn't got my refund. Hope I get to see office manager when I visit them third time Worst service I have ever seen in my life.

I went 2 this dentall office 7 years ago and hadn't been back since bcuz it is suppose 2 be a emergency dental place and my tooth which I broke a few years before going 2 get it fixed that day and my tooth had an abcess and was painful...they wouldn't fix it bcuz they said my and wouldn't cover it which was odd bcuz they took a panorama x-ray which was expensive...

I have always been one of those nervous dental patients due to negative experiences in the past. About 10 years ago I gave Dr. Scarsellone a try and never looked back. He's friendly, gentle, explains everything so you know exactly what to expect.... and I never feel anxious or nervous going to see him. My kids also go here and with the exception of a rough dental cleaning (I'm pretty sure this gal is no longer there - it was a couple of years ago), they have had good experiences there as well. I highly recommend Dr. Scarsellone.

Just had my second visit to the clinic and I must say I’m so impressed with the level of service. Laurie did a fantastic job, and I look forward to my next checkup.

The staff is friendly, professional and they do a good job in dentistry. All of my family goes there and I would recommend them.

This is hands-down, the best dentist experience I've ever had. My kids love coming to the dentist. The entire staff is friendly, engaging and always helpful and informative. They have state-of-the-art equipment and a warm and welcoming feel. And given that dentist costs can have significant variation from clinic to clinic within this province, I feel I am getting real value for my money. Very reasonable compared to my other dentist experiences.

I didn't go to the dentist for nearly four years. When i went i got X-rays and dr.zangy(the other dentist that works in the office) told me i needed my wisdom teeth removed, 8 cavities fixed and a crown on my tooth. First thing i got was my wisdom teeth. I was super scared. They answered all my questions(I asked lots of questions) and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I was shaking(thats how scared i was). from the receptionist, to dental hygienists, to the dentists, all the staff was very understanding, caring, patient, gentle, and willing to answer to all my concerns. When they removed my teeth, I had no swelling after. I also was very comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I highly recommend this dental office. They were very gentle. I took my 5 year old daughter the first time to the dentist also. They made her feel very comfortable as well. The Hygienist let her feel all the tools she was going to use on her mouth, and i would say even my 5 year old daughter had a very wonderful experience. They defiantly know how to deal with kids and even my daughter isn't scared to go to the dentist.. I still have to go back to get my cavities fixed and cap, but I am actually looking forward to going, and not scared anymore. I completely trust all the staff who work at this office. I know when I am in there care they will take care of me and make me feel as comfortable as possible. i felt literally no pain in their care.

The staff here are fantastic and friendly. I no longer fear the dentist. In fact, even while living in other cities we've continued to use them as our family dentist. Thanks Dr. Lau and crew for taking good care of us!

1) POOR QUALITY DENTAL WORK. Not only was I in pain for over 3 months after crown procedure, I continued to have food stuck between my teeth after installed. Needed to go to another dentist to fix. 2) CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS ON ME - TWICE! Showed up, took time off work, and my appointment was cancelled. Unbelievably, this happened twice (out of a total of 6). They second time, I did receive a Tim Hortons card as an apology.

Dr. Gord is by far the BEST dentist I've EVER been to. He describes everything he's doing and what you can expect during the whole process. He really makes sure you feel comfortable and that there is no surprises. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!

I have been looking for a good place for a while. I got a cleaning done there, they were super thorough and took their time. I had tried a few dentists but they always fell a bit short on the cleaning. The dentist Dr. Dalmer was honest and I had a great check up.
