Flooring

Great people making tremendously cool products.

Great place to shop for fixing up your home. Staff is very friendly and know their products.

TOP NOTCH, Professionals who (drum roll please...) actually care! While our family worked on a home remodel, we have many disappointing companies, but Carpet Gallery stood out. They were patient and helpful when picking out our carpet, and got our install in sooner than expected. When we had a question about the install, they came over immediately the next day. They were not the cheapest, but were THE BEST, and were worth every dollar. I can't recommend them enough.

I've worked with them on numerous different occasions and they were always focused of what was best for my home! Will definitely pass the name on!

Dan Nett, of Floorquest in Fond du Lac, has been more than helpful in two of our homes now. He has always found us options that work well for our lifestyle and our budget. Dan is extremely personable and easy to work with! Our flooring has always been done in a timely manner and professionally. Thank you Floorquest!

I just want to share the horrible nightmare of an experience my family had buying 3500 worth of laminate and 1500 worth carpet (after the install). We bought the products and they were put in timely fashion, no complaints there. When the floor was put in we started to notice defects, a few things at first that were fixed before the installers left, but a day or two later we started to notice major bubbling in the floor. the laminate was clearly damaged or defective. after calling Dalton to resolve this they said it was the installers fault not theirs. So we called the installer who refused to fix it saying it was the product itself and we should put in warranty claim. So months go by and Shaw sends a supposedly independent investigator, who didn't even look in the all the rooms where the bubbling was occurring, and said it wasn't Shaw's fault and there was nothing they could do. So 6 months after having a damaged floor, nothing is being done. We called Dalton every week asking them to please help fix this situation, they did nothing just told us there was nothing they could do. We even got to speak to owner one day who told us "we're sorry you ever came to Dalton." I've never been more mad in my life but of course at this point there is nothing we can do, even small claims court didn't help since we couldn't prove "who" or "what" caused the damage. My only hope is that this review saves someone else from having to go through that horrible nightmare we had to go through. Please avoid this business at all costs.

We arrived at the store close to closing time, but Jeff made us feel welcome and didn't rush us. We ended up choosing flooring and carpet. The prices with install were clearly labeled up front. There was good communication with install. The quality is good and prices were reasonable. I'm very happy with the process and results.

The guy in the glass department had to make sure I knew about how he wouldn't cut glass by a phone order before I even asked,, but I had a couple other quick questions that he was not too happy to answer,, Maybe just in a hurry but I'm probably going to go elsewhere

Roger is great when it comes to service work on your mower.

I had a complicated experience. By the end it turned out good. I selected a vinyl floor covering with the help of the Empire representative, Mary Fotinos for my bathroom. The install was scheduled for two days later. When the installer showed up, he advised that he did not have enough material even though he had no issue with his copy of the diagram that the sales representative had prepared two days earlier. He went on to say that I should be buying a tongue and groove floor which he did not have with him. He also said he would need to cut two seams and that would be a problem. He recommended contacting my sales representative and then he left. I did contact my sales representative and she came back to my house the same day. She did not understand where the installer was coming from but helped me pick out a tongue and groove pattern. The next day a second installer came with vinyl and tongue and groove material. His recommendation was definitely vinyl for a bathroom. That is the way we went. He installed it with no seams. It looks great and I am well pleased.

Will compete on price. Their installers are far superior to the competition. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else.

We went through a major remodel. Jim Goetter thoroughly discussed all of our options, pricing, and which products would best serve the functionality for my family. We’re extremely happy with the finished product! Being a real estate broker, I highly scrutinize the contractors I use and recommend.
